MSBY Black Jackals were in their gym for their regular practice. there was Bokuto, Hinata and Atsumu who looked very sneaky today, always running to the bleachers whenever Atsumu's phone rang or he got a notification.
"Tell me OmiOmi..... Do you still love her?" Asked Atsumu during the break
"It was a very sudden and out of the blues question"
"Just tell me Omi-kun"
"Stop calling me that and yes"
"Good" Said Hinata
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Sakusa
"Wait what? Sakusa in love? our Sakusa? That's a new thing. Isn't he like a germaphobe?" Asked Meian (Meian Shugo; #4; Captain; middle blocker) getting a bit hyped.
"Where is it written that a germaphobe can't fall in love?" Countered Sakusa getting a bit irritated.
"So you really love a girl? Who is she? Is she your girlfriend? You never said you have a girlfriend!" Said Inunaki (Inunaki Shion; #6; libero) getting a bit hurt.
"She is not my girlfriend..... we- I loved her when I met her during my highschool and then she left for Argentina with her brother to join San Juan" Explained Atsumu.
"WOW she is with San Juan? their manager? So she like rejected you?" Asked Barnes (Barnes Oriver; #10; wing spiker)
"Let me explain" Atsumu stepped in.
"You guys probably have heard of her if you are from Japan that is. She was pretty famous during her time here, first as a player and then as a strategist and researcher. now Sakusa fell for Volleyball due to her and so did I. We saw her and we instantly knew that volleyball was our thing. Coming to the point, they both had mutual feelings for each other but never confessed and then she had to leave but she promised that she will comeback for Sakusa. Since then OmiOmi has been waiting for her come back and has been loving her" Explained Atsumu
"Damn now that's called dedication" Said Meian getting proud of his teammate while Inumaki, Barnes and Tomas (Tomas Adriah; #9; Middle blocker) nodded.
" We don't if she is still in love with him and is waiting for him" Commented Tomas.
"I hope she is" Whispered Sakusa with his head hanging low, the team mates felt bad for him except Atsumu, Bokuto and Hinata who had a smirk.
"So if she is the reason you fell for volleyball too.... that makes me feel you were in love with her as well... Or am I just speculating?" Meian directed the question towards Atsumu
"You're.......... not. I loved her, I still do. but I just figured she is way out of my league. We are bestfriends though" replied Atsumu while Sakusa was shock to hear that.
Suddenly Coach Foster Samson came in.
"Guys I have an announcement." Everyone's attention was on their coach.
"We are going to have a new member today. Our new manager and strategist" Said the coach.
Sakusa made a disgusted face "As long as he doesn't touch my belongings I have no problem"
"It's a she Kiyoomi" replied the coach while the players, Inumaki and Tomas specifically, had star in their eyes.
"Doesn't matter"
"Without further ado let me introduce her to you." Sakusa made his way towards the bleachers not much interested in the new comer.
"Please enter" the coach called
"Hello everyone" Said a female voice. Sakusa found it a bit familiar but he overlooked that.
"Please excuse me...." the girl bowed and made her way towards the bleachers all excited and not being able to contain her feelings while the others thought she is a fan of Sakusa and were about to warn her because hell was going to lash out on her.
"Girl don't-" The captain wasn't able to finish his sentence. She was already hugging him from the back. Sakusa felt a shiver and was about to shout on her but-
"Hisashiburi Kiyo... Its been a while and I missed you so much... I'm sorry I took so long" Sakusa was holding a bottle and his phone but they fell just when he heard the voice say that. It was her, it was Midori and she came back.... for him
Midori then understood that Sakusa shivered at her touch and soon broke the hug and maintained her distance. She was crying and unknown to her he was crying too.
"I-I'm sorry.... I forgot things change.... I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable" She said feeling her heart break into 1000 pieces. Sakusa turned with tears running down his eyes. He went to her and fall on his knees, resting his head on her stomach. The scene was strange for the spectators of course and they were confuse except Atsumu who was recording while Hinata was already in tears and Bokuto about to break.
"You came....... you came back..... for me...... th-thank you... I thought you won't..."
"How can I not..... I love you after all... I have been in love with you for years now... since my 1st year of High school and now I'll sat here with you.... unless you want me to find a house for myself. I didn't really ask that I want to move in with you" She stated and he giggled, another ones in a lifetime phenomenon.
Sakusa got hold of her had and pulled her down, hugging her while she was on her knees too.
"I love you too and yes you can move in with me Oikawa Midori"
With this everyone got a hint the girl Sakusa was in love with was this one Oikawa Midori, sister of a very famous player from Argentina and the 'Humming Bird' and very famous strategist and researchist of volleyball.
