"I miss that feeling, I can still remember it as if it's not a moment. I gave up searching for someone to wake something within me. I am sick of feeling empty. Even if had a thousand women, I'd still feel alone.

That's why I long for her."

He spoke of a girl he just chatted with over the phone.

"Why don't you go back to her?" I bravely asked.

- "I will always go back to her.

So, I was clear enough? I know you like Max. Be with someone you really like.

The kiss between us meant nothing. It's not like you had sex with me."

You could say it felt almost felt like sex despite my past experiences.

- "And even if that were the case, the outcome would be the same. I wouldn't remember how your lips taste like, feeling of your skin on mine, the fact that I was in you. I would forget about it the very next day; I would only know that it happened. Without feeling anything, you're not able to know what you should and shouldn't recall – so you don't remember anything."

And with that, he closed his statement from which the side of my heart facing him froze.

"Why are you explaining this to me?"

- "You mentioned a kiss.."

"You didn't let me finish, you simply assumed what I was going to say."

- "Then I apologize, it all usually starts like that."

"What about me being different?"

- "On a microscopic level."

That guy has no heart and I feel like I'm about to lose mine too – it seems.

Fucking Adrian. I don't even know how long I was staring at the sea for. Heartless.

Ugh! My head is still pulsing from his words that are still ringing in my head.

- "Love? Why are you standing outside for so long?"

Sammy somehow found me.

"What are you doing here? How did you find me? Why did you find me?"

Lucia. Shush!

- "What is going on with you?"

"You didn't tell me how you found me."

He was silent.

"Adrian told you?"

He just nodded.

"I need a hug."

He gave me a tight hug and said:

- "Come on, let's get you to bed. Tomorrow we're heading back."

I don't know what time it was when Thea bounced into my room.

- "Get uUup! We're heading hoOoome! I have something important to tell you. I can't wait any longer!"

I raised my head and only opened one eye. Thea was cheerfully packing my stuff.

What is up with her?

"I feel like shit."

I started.

"Stop bouncing around like a ping pong ball, I'm going to get sick looking at you."

- "I'm not listening to you – I'm feeling happy and content today!"

"Lucky you."

I replied.

"Now bounce out of my room and let me sleep."

She stopped and looked at me.

- "No more sleeping! I told you we're going, so get up!"

While blabbing on how it is already afternoon and that everyone beside us three left two hours ago, I couldn't help but notice that something serious is happening to me.

"Ugh. I don't care! Get out."

- "Oh, come now! I packed your stuff. Now you only have to take a nice shower and get dressed so we can go."

"Thea, go bother Sam."

- "Someone called for me?"

I opened one of my eyes and arched my head on my hands, prepping my elbows on the bed. He stood leaned on the doorframe with his arms crossed.

"Ugh. You're the last thing I need."

- "Come on Minimaxy – or should I say Louis Lane?"

"Shut up and stop smiling you little turd!"

- "If you don't want me to join you in that bed, you better get up."

"Big deal! It's not like you haven't napped next to me and Thea before."

- "Well, that was then. Before Louis Lane."

He winked seductively.

"Ugh! Stop!"

I closed my ears with my hands.

Thea's bouncing was simply symptomatic. Something happened in her love life.

She's definitely not like her brother who's in his current conflict with his emotions.

Ugh! My head started hurting as soon as I recalled our last night's talk.
