It was 6pm when I returned from the training. And on my way to my car, my cell phone started ringing. Mr's Manev. Mrs Mom. Mother of myself and my sisters. Mrs. President of the State's goverment . The ice lady. (Yes, I have a family) I am oldest while the other two Manev girl are twins, both in college. Both of them were polite and gracious ladies, like their mother, while I was a polite lady with horrible temper which doesn't go hand in hand with one another. But my dad is a badass, he's much younger than my mom, he had me when he was 20 years old, now he's forty-six. He is a designer for all kinds of footwear. I guess I got my passion for shoes from him as well as thirty-six pairs of sandals and shoes. By the way I got my temper from him as well.

"Hello mother."

- "Hello Lucia. I'd be amazed if you were to call me in these last five days."

"Mother, I'm not worried for you. I'm sure you're not lacking information on me."

- "Lucia, stop talking nonsense."

"Mother, I'm sure that Eva and Emma would have much more to tell you since you guys are much closer. Anyway, how was your vacation in Paris with dad? Dad called me to ask as to why I wasn't there. I didn't tell him that no one invited me. I trust you justified my absence with a good enough reasons."

- "Lucia, girls were already there and I went there due to work. Why would you ever think that I wouldn't want us all to be together?"

I was silent.

- "Lucia, I know that you are a capable young woman who knows how to take care of herself in every sense. Why are you behaving like a complicated teenager?"

"Mother, it's a good thing you have other two daughters to preserve your honor which you will present with fancy, crease free dresses and a nice act of decent exemplary citizens. I am.."

- "You are Lucia my child, just like they are. I don't see why you keep pointing the lack of my attention to you out to me?"

"Mother, I have someone else on the line, I gotta go."

- "Alright Lucia. Give your father a call."

"Don't worry about dad, he's always been more of a parent than you've been to me."

-"Lucia.."

"Bye Mother!"

That woman whose facial lines I see every time I look in the mirror. The woman that looks as though she is my twin. Valentina Manev. Someone who neglected me my entire life for duty. Someone who only became a mother after the birth of her twins, and only for them. She would only spend a Sunday lunch with me and we would often meet in the park during Wednesdays from 12 – 2pm.  Back when i was a child, she would often come home while I would take a shower before bed and would only spend time with me when she needed to take me piano lessons on Fridays at 6pm. Everything was always planned and in the exact order. Ever since I was ten, I focused on aikido, that was my only aspiration in my life for a long time because I was very good at it – so I could show her that I'm perfect in something and therefore worthy of attention and admiration.

"Ugh.." I toss my beloved hair forwards over the shoulder and nervously pulled out of my parking spot and drove towards my house.
