Chapter 18

- "It won't stop on just that, you'll see!"

"My duty is to warn you Suzanna."

I spoke with an indifferent and cold tone.

- "Lucia!" Thea warned.

"Let me finish!" I shouted.

- "What are you warning me for? You think I'm scared of you?"

"My duty is to warn you that I have a black belt in Aikido."

She started to laugh out loud.

- "You're so pathetic!"

Adrian looked at me with amusement.

- "Why can't you shut up? Doesn't any of that sound concerning to you?"

"Don't bother Sammy. My duty is done."

- "Suzanna, let's go." Adrian pulled her back.

- "No! Why are you trying to protect her?"

- "Because he's not stupid enough not to understand what he's hearing. Don't you see that he is trying to protect you?"

- "Why? Because she just blabbed some shit from action movies?"

- "Alright then." The clearly frustrated Adrian released his grip from her.

- "NO!!!" Thea and Sammy shouted in unison.

The next moment, Suzanna was charging full speed towards me. It only took two moves and she was already laying down on the ground. Everyone piped down.

Adrian smiled, shocked and surprised.

"Little shit." I grumbled and kicked some sand at her.

She looked at me furiously as she was laying down in the sand.

"I should have kicked your ass, but I spared you."

- "I recommend you stay down, insufferable girl." Thea added.

- "What was that?" Asked Sammy.

"Mae Geri."

- "So, what you just did with your leg is called Mae Geri?"

"Of course. Do I look like an amateur? She'll be fine by the way."

I turned around and I saw Adrian crouching beside her.

"And you." I spoke to him "teach that brat of yours some restraint so she won't learn it from me."

- "She's not my brat."

"Yea, yea, she's just convinced that she means something to you."

- "She's right." Thea confirmed.

"Make somethings clear with yourself and be with someone who can actually have the right to call you their own." I said meaningfully.

- "As if that person exists." Thea sneered.

- "You looked like a kung foo panda!" Sammy added as we walked towards the house laughing.

The sound of music briefly interrupted dinner. Everyone looked at each other. We were all siting in one place, minus Suzanna and her friend. They left after a very loud fight between her and her so called boyfriend.
