I slept the entire journey. When I opened my eyes, we were entering the street leading to my house.

- "Are you sleeping just so you can avoid telling us about last night?"

Thea could be heard from the front seat. She noticed I was awake.

"No. I don't want to remember last night."

- "After you tell us what happened, you won't have to recall on it anymore."

Added Sammy as he parked in front of my house.

I knew I won't avoid it so easily.

"You can stay for a sleepover."

I said, entering my home.

They agreed. Soon enough, we were sitting down on the terrace, drinking coffee and discussed Thea's last night adventures.

Turns out, the guy she met on the New Year's Eve (thanks to me) was really worth the attention. She cheerfully told us the tale of last night.

We lost the concept of how much time has passed before we realized that two hours already went by.

"Blah, blah, blah! You were walking and so on. So, let's hear it! Were there any...?"

I asked as I mimicked kisses and smooching noises towards Sam, who already got on board and mimicked them as well. We started theatrically imitating Thea and her new boyfriend in the moment when they kissed.

Thea rolled her eyes.

- "You guys are not amusing at all.

"Aaaaand?"

- "We were sitting down in the sand when we started kissing. It was..."

She stopped, trying to find the right words while Sammy and I waited without blinking an eye, holding onto each other's forearm in anticipation.

- "Aw come on now. Stop being childish, you two."

She laughed.

- "Well, we're burning up here! We want to hear how it ended."

Sammy replied.

- "It was phenomenal. One kiss simply led to another. He has such cute dimples on his cheeks whenever he smiles or laughs. His job is in organizing weddings by the way."

"Wow!"

I added.

- "So, he knows how to professionally organize a wedding for others. Imagine how it would all look like if he were to organize one for himself."

Sammy commented, wiggling his eyebrows in Thea's direction, insinuating marriage.

- "You guys are impossible. Where is all this nonsense coming from?"

We started laughing as soon as she started blushing at the mentions of marriage.

- "We just met and you two already have a wedding in store for me. I must be completely insane for hanging out with you two."

We continued listening to her story and kept lightly nudging each other whenever she started grinning, smiling or describing this new man in her love life.

We went inside and sat down in the kitchen to eat dinner. Thea curiously looked my way expecting to meet my gaze and when I looked her way, I already understood what her gaze meant. I pretended to be oblivious and asked:

"What??"

- "Don't you play dumb with me...Now let's hear your story!"

"Nothing happened with Maddox."
