Izuku's POV:

I waited until Y/n was asleep, I pulled the covers over her before going back downstairs. Her mother was wailing and I rolled my eyes.

"Izuku! Please! Try and reason with her", Mrs. L/n cried.

"I can't make her let you guys into her life. Besides from just my stay and when you came to Japan, I can see where she is coming from. I don't want that around my kids either", I shrugged my shoulders.

"C'mon man! You are gonna be my brother-in-law!", DJ groaned.

"Well, Jessica did bring Joy to the cookout and tried to set her up with Izuku", Sheila said as she rubbed her stomach.

"Oh please-", Jessica started.

"Jessica, female or not, you are a villain in this situation. And I kick villains asses for a living so watch what you say", I glared.

"Ay man, don't talk to my fiance like that", Isaiah said.

"Where was that same energy for MY fiance, also known as your little sister?", I asked.

It was quiet after that and I let out a sigh.

"What you guys did was fucked up", I huffed.

"We only wanted the best for her!"

"And where did 'the best' get you? I know where it got you. It got you a daughter who wants nothing to do with you. A daughter who is kicking you out of her life. All because you were selfish", I muttered.

I rubbed my face with my hands before cracking my neck.

"You guys may never see her in a wedding dress. Or her maternity dress for her baby shower. And you might never know who your grandchildren are, how does that make you feel? Cause to be honest if I were in that situation I would feel like shit"

"Now you're just rubbing it in their faces", Jessica grumbled.

"Maybe you should reconsider marrying her. What she did to your sister isn't excusable. If I had a fiance that said some disrespectful crap to my sister, I would probably be turned off by that honestly. Love doesn't excuse bad behavior. It's like a mother saying 'I love you' to her child who she is constantly abusing. Does that sit right with you?", I asked.

Isaiah was quiet and Jessica became nervous as she watched him. The gears were practically turning his head and she was getting scared.

"What if she does the same thing to your daughter? And your daughter was discouraged, just like Y/n. It would be a constant cycle in your family that will never be fixed if you just choose to ignore what she did", I say as I tapped my chin in a thinking manner.

Isaiah stared at Jessica and tears welled in her eyes.

"Isaiah, w-"

"I'm gonna go think. I can't right now", He whispered before leaving the room.

"Just what are you trying to do? Why are you trying to ruin my relationship?!", Jessica asked, breathing heavily as tears rolled down her face.

"Why were you trying to ruin mine?", I shot back as I folded my arms.

"Yours is understandable! Y/n isn't like us! She would surely ruin the relationship on her own", Jessica glared.

"Well you got one thing right, she isn't like you. Thank god for that, right?", I laughed.

Jessica stared at me stunned as tears continued to drip from her eyes.

"I would never do or say those things to my daughter!", Jessica cried.

"What if your daughter wanted to be a dancer? Or wanted to do art instead of running a business? Or doing any of the things you wanted her to do?", I asked her.

Jessica froze as more tears fell from her eyes.

"That's what I thought. I honestly wouldn't want to be with a woman as evil as you and Mrs. L/n. I don't know how Mr. L/n or Isaiah do it", I stifled my laugh.

"You-"

"Jessica, shut your mouth! Izuku is right and so was Y/n! We have let you both get comfortable with tormenting her for her dream", Marlon spoke up.

"What we did wasn't right and wasn't fair, Jessica. I should have supported her instead of saying the things I said or doing things I shouldn't have done as her mother", Mrs. L/n sniffled as she dabbed her eyes.

"And we shouldn't have ignored it", Mr. L/n sighed.

"To go back to what you said Jessica. About Y/n ruining our relationship on her own, you are wrong. We shower each other with love, communicate and trust one another. YOU tried to ruin us when you brought Joy to the family event", I smirked as Jessica stuttered before closing her mouth.

DJ, Marlon and Mr. L/n nodded their heads in agreement.

"You can just tell that they love each other!", Sheila clapped her hands with a smile.

"They can both be in the same room talking to different people and would look back just to make sure the other is there", Tammy laughed.

"OOO! And don't forget Izuku would most likely walk up to her just to wrap his arms around her waist and lay his head on her shoulder! And how she'll run her fingers through his hair!", Sheila squealed.

"Young love is so beautiful", Tammy agreed with Sheila.

I felt my face heat up at how much they paid attention to our relationship. I shyly began to fiddle with my fingers as my face burned.

"AW!", Both women cooed.

"Why are you so bitter, Jessica?", I asked.

Everyone turned their heads towards her and Jessica began to fidget. I noticed how she casted her eyes down as her eyebrows furrowed.

"I-I'm not...", Jessica stated as she got up and walked out of the room.

I watched her leave with a questioning look.

'Interesting', I thought to myself.

"Is there any way to reason with Y/n?", Marlon asked after Jessica left.

"In the words of Y/n, 'my family better get their act together'. In my opinion, she is taking this very seriously so don't try to fake or half-ass it", I said before getting out of my seat.

"Hopefully you take my advice. If you don't you may lose her for good and I won't be able to help", I waved as I walked out of the room.

I walked up the stairs and opened our bedroom door. Closing the door behind me before I slid next to my wife-to-be.

I pressed a kiss on her forehead before pulling her close. My eyes began to get heavy as I snuggled closer to her body.

"I love you", I whispered before letting sleep overcome me.
