Chapter 44

Y/n's POV:

Izuku has been in his coma for three weeks. I was a month and a week along in my pregnancy and there was still no sign of him waking up.

"Hey...Izuku, I just got back from my appointment. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat, don't worry I have a recording so you can hear it when you wake up", I said softly as I rubbed my stomach before holding his hand.

"The doctors say that your head is healing at a slow pace and there is hope that when it is fully healed you will wake up", I stroked his cheek with my thumb.

I pressed a light kiss on his lips before sitting on his bed. Holding his hand I placed it on my stomach, even though the baby was small, feeling his hand on my belly made me feel a bit better.

"Your parents have been a great help. When we plan to do a gender reveal party...God Izuku, why can't you just wake up already?", I sniffled.

"I miss you and I'm scared...", I mumbled as I wiped my tears.

I took a deep breath to calm myself, sniffling softly as I smoothed his hand over my stomach.

"I'm gonna start taking birthing classes soon, to learn how to breathe and everything...Mina said that she was going to go with me, so I don't have to do that part by myself"

I crawled over to him and lifted his arm up so I could curl on his side. I laid my head on his chest, calming at the sound of his heartbeat.

I hummed a small tune as I traced shapes on his chest. My body relaxed as I closed my eyes, pretending we were home and cuddling on the couch.

However, the sound of his heart monitor and how lifeless his body was besides his calm breathing, it was hard to do.

"I really hope you get better, Izu...I miss hearing your voice and seeing those pretty green eyes...your surprise kisses and your smile...", I bit my lip as I let out a shaky sigh.

"Please wake up...please", I choked as a sob made its way to my throat.

I sniffled and leaned forward to press a kiss on his freckled cheek. Before getting up and walking to the bathroom.

Izuku's POV:

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!", I screamed as I banged the chains on the wall.

I was looking for something to help me get out of these for who knows how long. Time was really slow in this place especially since it was so quiet and I'm alone.

I gritted my teeth in agitation and sat on the wall. I stared at the chains and grabbed them before glaring at the light that seemed to mock me.

"Why the fuck can't I leave?!", I groaned as I leaned my head back on the wall.

"Hey...Izuku, I just got back from my appointment. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat, don't worry I have a recording so you can hear it when you wake up"

"I'm missing everything...aren't I?", I sighed as I rubbed my hands all over my face.

"The doctors say that your head is healing at a slow pace and there is hope that when it is fully healed you will wake up"

"It needs to heal faster because I want to get out of here", I snapped.

"I'm sorry...", I sighed.

"Your parents have been a great help. When we plan to do a gender reveal party...God Izuku, why can't you just wake up already?"

"I'm trying, Baby. I promise you I'm trying, I just don't know what to do", I sniffled as I grabbed the chains and pulled.

"I miss you and I'm scared..."

"Me too. I miss you and I'm scared too..."

"I'm gonna start taking birthing classes soon, to learn how to breathe and everything...Mina said that she was going to go with me, so I don't have to do that part by myself"

"I'm so sorry, Y/n. I'm so sorry"

I heard a small tune and slowly calmed myself down. Closing my eyes as I listened to her song.

I pulled my knees to my chest as I ran my hands through my curly hair.

"Fuck", I whispered.

"I wanna wake up...!", I shouted.

"I really hope you get better, Izu..."

"Let me wake up! Let me see my family!"

"...I miss hearing your voice and seeing those pretty green eyes..."

"I want to see Y/n's beautiful face, her shining e/c colored eyes", I whispered.

"...Your surprise kisses and your smile..."

"I want to feel her kisses and hold her...Let me wake up!", I curled into a ball.

"Please wake up...please"

"I'm trying...I'm trying, but I can't figure out how to leave", I mumbled.

I took a deep breath before pushing myself up. I began to pull on the chains, eyes widening as the chains began to break, wincing as it gave me slight pain.

Once they were off, I looked back at the light and walked towards it slowly. Suddenly I took off running, reaching a hand out to the light, hoping to swell my chest.

I felt something cold wrap itself around my leg, tripping me. I fell to the ground and looked back.

It looked like what it means to be a demon except it had no horns. It smiled, black liquid falling from its mouth, before letting out a scream before pulling me.

I kicked the hand off before getting up to run again when I felt two pairs of hands on each of my legs. I heard multiple snarls and shrieks as I kicked them off.

No matter how many I kicked off of me, more kept coming and more kept grabbing me. They grabbed my arms and legs as they began to drag me back, giggling at this sick game they were playing.

"Get the fuck off! Let me go!", I groaned as I struggled to keep them from coming.

I fought back, finding out that if I ripped at least a limb or two off their body they would 'die'. I began to rip off their arms and their legs, slightly struggling because it seemed to be millions of them.

"Hold on, Y/n! I'm coming!", I shouted as I pulled one of their heads off.

They didn't seem to have blood, but this black inky substance that came from their bodies and mouths. More came jumping at me and more shrieked in delight as they continued to pull me back.

I kicked one in the face before throwing a punch at another. I was getting angry and frustrated, taking it out on the ones that were preventing me from leaving this dark place.

"I'm gonna fucking kill you all", I growled as I pulled off an arm.
