The soft golden rays of the afternoon sun filtered through the girl's bedroom window, creating a warm glow that brightened the room as Marley lay on the bed watching her boyfriend sift through her extensive record collection with an amused smirk. All she'd wanted was for him to choose a record to play as background noise while she caught him up on the events of the day but instead it had ended up with the boy being sidetracked and admiring all his favourite records with an excitable expression. Marley didn't mind, it was endearing to watch his face light up when he enthused about all his favourite bands.

"Bambi, you know we can listen to more than one, right?" She snickered, noticing the boy begin to pout as he toyed between the two records in either hand. His head snapped up to look at her, so engrossed in making a decision he almost forgot she was there.

"I know! I just dunno what mood I'm in...The Eagles or George Harrison?" He whined, his cheeks flushing a little in embarrassment over how particular he was being. Harry was dead set on finding the perfect music to match his mood all the time which many people found annoying but Marley found quite sweet. Sharing a love for music meant Marley could understand where the boy was coming from.

"Hmn...why don't you put on 'All Things Must Pass'? I think that's good enough for now." She suggested, noticing how Harry had been leaning towards that record anyway.

She watched as he slid the vinyl from its sleeve and very carefully placed it onto the record player. As soon as the first few notes began to filter through the speakers, the curly-haired lad made his way over to his girlfriend and settled himself down to lie next to her - eager to hear her news. He brushed a stray piece of blonde hair from her face as she turned to lay in her side, their faces mere inches from each other.

"So...how was the doctor's today? Tell me everything."

"Well, when I first got there they made me pee in a cup..." She teased, giggling as Harry scrunched his nose up at the information.

"That's not what I meant, Mae."

"There isn't really that much to say, the doctor just confirmed I was pregnant and went over some stuff to make sure I'm keeping healthy."

"That's all?" Harry frowned, a little disappointed there wasn't much to report. He didn't really know what kind of stuff happened at these check-ups but had hoped there was something more interesting to report than some average doctor's advice.

"I guess there was also the ultrasound..." The blonde smirked as she slowly pulled the black and white image out from her cardigan pocket, her heart fluttering at the way Harry's eyes shone with happiness at the news. He was careful with the picture as Marley handed it over, not wanting to crease it.

"See that little spec there?" She gestured to the distinct little blob on the image, watching Harry nod quietly. "That's my baby."

"That little thing?" He asked in awe, glancing up at the blonde in disbelief. "It's tiny."

"Mhm...I'm about seven weeks along. Due some time in the middle of February."

"Our little Pip." He hummed, barely taking his eyes off the ultrasound image as he spoke. It was strange for Marley to think something so tiny was growing inside her, it made her a little nervous now she had a picture to prove there really was something there but seeing Harry already so attached to her baby reassured her that everything was going to be alright. She had his support if all else fails.

"Mae, dear! Can you come down for a minute?" Jay's voice called from downstairs, just audible over the gentle music filling the room. The girl rolled her eyes, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of the afternoon with Harry - talking about the baby and starting to make a plan about how they would sort things out. They still needed to tell Zayn, work out the money issue, plan how they would balance school with doctors appointments and decide what kind of things they could get second hand in order to save money. Some people would say they were worrying about things too soon - she still had about seven months to prepare - but that time would go way too quickly and it was best to sort things out before it was too late.
