Dream's POV
Although it felt pointless to run from four people with a vehicle, George got my hopes up. At least for a few minutes, I can be with him instead of in a motel cell. He held me up, my spine felt like pebbles. I couldn't stand on my own and I felt bad weighing George down.

He says he wants this, but I know he doesn't. I've seen some of the worst, George should never have to see that. I kept trying to walk by myself, but every time I fell, George caught me. I never had to rely on anyone so it was nice to have that feeling bottled.

I looked into the distance and saw a truck that I didn't recognize. I put my thumbs up and they turned their blinker on.
"George, someone's coming." I said and George stepped in front of me.
"I'll handle it." George said. I felt safe even though I know this pipsqueak isn't gonna do much.

The car pulled up and the passenger window rolled down. I vaguely recognized the driver.
"Sapnap?" George asked.
"What are you two doing out here?" Sapnap asked us.

"Running for our lives." George joked. Sapnap unlocked the car. George helped me into the back and sat next to me.
"What's wrong with him?" Sapnap asked George, referring to me.
"Can we just go to the castle, it's been a long day." George said.

Sapnap nodded and started driving. I cuddled up to George, craving his body heat. Everything is so wrong, but somehow I felt better than I ever did my entire childhood. I knew I loved George, but this was too much.

"I'm sorry I'm dragging us down. I swear I'll be better tomorrow." I said. George tucked my hair behind my ear and held me gently.
"If you think I'm letting you stand for the next week, you're wrong." George said and played with my hair.

"I'm gonna make it up to you." I said. George laughed.
"Why? I'm just glad you're okay." George said. I gripped the fabric on his chest.
"I'm cold." I said. George pulled me closer and wrapped me in his arms. It felt pleasant to be here, safe in his arms.

"There's a blanket back there." Sapnap told us. George found it and wrapped me in it. I relaxed and felt good for a moment. It's the first good moment since I got kidnapped.

"Seriously, what happened to him?" Sapnap asked.
"He got kidnapped." I said.
"Shit... what did they do to him." Sapnap asked. I felt my eyes starting to water as I remembered some of it.
"They cut his finger off." George said.

Sapnap looked back at my hand.
"I didn't even notice." He said. He continued driving.
"Yeah. It's at the castle by the way." George told me.
"Did you freeze it?" I asked.
"Yes." George said and looked at my missing finger.

"This is infected for sure." George said. I looked at the yellow crust around the wound.
"I'll be okay." I said and held George's hand.
"You better be." George said and kissed my hand.

"We should be there in a few more minutes, just got into town." Sapnap said.
"Thank you for stopping Sapnap, we owe you big time." George said.
"Yeah, well I'll be here." Sapnap said. He got out and helped George carry me inside.

My brother saw us from the garden and screamed.
"Dream!" My brother yelled and ran to help the other two.
"I want to die, this hurts." I said.
"You can't." George said and held me tighter.

My brother got to us and helped get me on the living room couch.
"I'm gonna get some food, want anything?" My brother asked.
"Sure, just get me whatever you're having." I responded.
"You got it." He said and left. Sapnap left with him.

George sat down in the chair and let me sprawl out on the couch.
"Do you feel okay?" George asked.
"I feel better. We got lucky." I said.
"Extremely lucky." George joked.

I looked around and made sure no one was here.
"86 times. I didn't always know the person, but I counted 86 people inside me." I said. George's eyes went wide.
"That's a lot. Are those separate people?" George asked.
"Some repeats, I didn't count all of them. I also didn't count the other things they did." I told him.

It felt nice to be able to talk about it like this. George is always a good listener.
"Why didn't you count everything?" George asked.
"I lost count on my mouth." I said and felt tears coming forward.

"Why are you telling me this?" George asked.
"Because I need someone to know. I want you to know people like that are out there, and I will do anything to protect you from them." I said. George sighed.

"Can you come here?" I asked and George cuddled up to me on the couch.
"I'll never let anyone touch you. You're safe." George said. I brushed some hair behind his ear.
"For now." I said.

George looked at my forehead and squinted then his eyes widened.
"Crap, you're bleeding." George said and tried to get up. I held him against my chest.
"Don't leave, please." I said.
"I'll be right back." George said.
"I'm fine." I said and George looked at me.

I sighed and let him go. He stood up and kissed me.
"I swear, right back." George said.
"Five minutes." I said and George smiled. He left the room and my brother came in with the food.

"It's a bit cold, but who wants tacos?" My brother asked and set the takeout on the table.
"Bring me one." I said and my brother handed me a taco. I ate it and realized I was way hungrier than I thought. I was starving.

"Woah slow down." Skeppy said and stepped into the room with Bad. They had a bottle of tequila.
"Hey guys." I said and almost choked on my food. They came in and took a seat, Skeppy put the tequila on the table.

"We were out searching for you, where were you?" Skeppy asked.
"Some motel out of town." I said. Skeppy smiled weakly.
"You've survived a lot, but this one takes the cake." Skeppy said. I smiled.

"We never thought we would see you again." Bad said.
"I'm here. Believe it or not." I said. George came back into the room and sat next to me with a first aid kit.
"Hold still, continue eating." George said. He cleaned my forehead and bandaged the wound.

"First thing tomorrow I'm getting you to a hospital." George said.
"That sounds good, you're smart." I said.
"So are you." George said.
