George's POV
Everything is slowly becoming more and more stressful. Some designs I was working on needed to be scraped so I lost a month of work. Shockingly enough, Dream's brother is late on the form, and passive wedding planning isn't a treat either.

Dream tries to help me, but I just end up being distracted by him. It's not his fault, it's mine for thinking things are going well. I continued to try and rework my scrap projects, but it was no use. No matter how I made it, it was either too small or too expensive to install correctly.

"How's it going today?" Dream asked and brought me a cup of tea.
"I'm struggling." I admitted and smiled at him. He took a look at it.
"It's all Chinese to me, so you're doing something great." Dream said.
"Yeah. I know. I just can't get it right, so I'm gonna have to scrap this project for good." I complained.

Dream rubbed my back.
"How long have you been working on this for?" Dream asked.
"I don't know, what time is it?" I asked.
"It's three." Dream said. My eyes widened.
"In the morning?" I asked.
"No, afternoon. Why?" Dream asked.
"Because that means I've nearly been working for... twenty hours. That sounds wrong." I said.

"It's probably not. You've been overwhelmed, have some tea. I'll get you something to eat." Dream said.
"Let the staff take care of it, I need to work." I said. I was so close to a breakthrough, I just needed to work harder. I chugged the tea Dream gave me and looked back at the frustrating screen.

Dream pulled my chair away from the desk and hovered over me, holding the arms of the chair.
"George, you need to stop. Twenty hours isn't healthy." Dream said. I looked into his eyes to see his genuine worry.
"I'm so close though! Just one more hour." I said.
"Nope, I'm making you take a break." Dream said.

"How are you gonna do that?" I asked. Dream raised his eyebrows.
"Do you really want to fight me? Because I will destroy you." Dream said, it got me a bit hot.
"I don't want to fight you." I said and Dream leaned towards me.
"Then don't fight me. Just take a break, do something else." Dream said. I smiled and kissed him.

I pulled back and held his face.
"You care about me so much, don't you?" I asked.
"More than anything." Dream said and held one of my hands.
"Where's your brother?" I asked.
"Where he always is. Why, trying to get lit?" Dream asked and smirked.
"Something like that." I said. Dream smiled and helped me up.

We went out to the garden. The sun on my skin felt itchy and my eyes refused to open. I held Dream's arm as he took me to his brother and greeted him.
"George, haven't seen you?" Dream's brother said.
"Where are you on that legal form for cannabis legalization?" I asked.

Dream facepalmed.
"George, did you seriously drag me here to do more work?" Dream asked.
"I didn't drag you here." I said.
"I'm done the form. I'll email it to you tomorrow." Dream's brother said.
"Could you actually do it today so I could finish that?" I asked.

"Why didn't you listen to me George?" Dream asked. I looked at him. He was crossing his arms over himself and searching my eyes for his answer.
"I am, I'm just... I want to get it all done now, then I can take a bigger break." I said. Dream looked down.
"I'm worried about you. You don't owe me anything so feel free to treat yourself this way, but I don't like it." Dream said.

I looked at the brother and he turned away. I realized quickly that I was wrong and Dream is only trying to help.
"I'm sorry. What do you want to do? I'm open." I said to Dream. He smiled big and looked at his brother.
"You still got some?" Dream asked.
"Yup, just started growing some as well." His brother said.

"Where?" I asked.
"Over there." Dream's brother said and pointed to an ugly patch of dirt that no one has touched in a few years.
"Fair enough, let me know if you need anything to fix the dirt up." I said. The other two looked at each other and laughed.

"What's funny?" I asked.
"Dirt being fixed." Dream said. I laughed. Dream got a new joint from his brother and lit it up. I cuddled up to him against the railing.
"I can go in and email that document now while I'm out." Dream's brother offered. Dream looked at me and I shook my head.
"It's okay." I whispered.
"Go ahead and email it." Dream said, I smiled big.
"Alright, see ya on the flip." Dream's brother said and went back to the castle.

"Thank you for that." I said and Dream inhaled the joint more.
"You're welcome." He coughed.
I took a hit off the joint as well. I looked at Dream and studied his face, he did the same.
"I'm sorry I acted like an asshole." I said. Dream smiled.
"If that was you being an asshole, you don't have the ability to be one." Dream answered. I kissed him.

"I keep waiting for something to happen that drives us apart. I don't want it to, but maybe I'm creating it now." I said. Dream rubbed my back and I felt safe.
"It's okay. I have that same feeling. Only it's more that you're gonna realize I'm not worth anything." Dream said and looked down.

"I have one more wedding surprise." I said and opened my phone. Dream opened the document and started reading.
