Elijah's pov:

At the party I have met Abigail. When I first saw her I did think she was pretty. Me and her weren't exactly close as it hasn't even been a week since the two of us met, but I'd like too.

She seems like the type of girl I could be with but I also got a girl at the moment. Me and my girl don't talk much. She goes to the same school as me but she hangs out with other guys, not caring what I might think of it.

I could never trust her boy best friend, Noel. Noel and her are a little too close. Me, Abigail, Noel and my girl (Ashley)

My friend Aiden will sometimes point out the things they do. He'll good around with her, hug her, wrap his arm around her and other things that will make you think their a couple.

"You need to be careful" Aiden once told me.

"I know. I always keep thinking if she's cheating on me with him"

"Talk it out with her. Communication is key"

"Your right" I sigh, burying my face in my hands.

"Hopefully all goes well with you and her. She's been your girlfriend for two years"

"Yes, and I know that. I appreciate you helping me out. I just can't help but think..." I pause "what if Noel really does like her?"

"Ashley? I mean she is pretty but I don't think he likes her, man"

"Hey, you never know. The way they act with each other.. sets off a weird feeling"

"Text her about it. Or better yet wait til ask her in person and listen to what she has to say"

"Thank you, Aiden. I don't know what I'd do without you, really"

"Anytime, E. I best be going though. Gotta get home or else my mom will be worried. You know how she is"

I chuckle and nod. "I understand. Drive safe". We both stand up to give each other a quick hug and he leaves.

The couch sofa felt relaxing. All I could think about was Abigail. What is she doing right now? I wish I could text her right now but I don't want to bother her. Especially at this hour.

You know what? Fuck it. I send a text to Abigail asking her what she's doing. Delivered. I'll wait s bit. In the meantime I get up and grab a snack.

About five minutes have passed. She had to of text me by now. I sit back on the couch and look at my phone. Damn. I flick the tv on and watch sometime to kill time.

She had to of text me by now. Why was I missing her so much? All I want and need is her attention but I have a girlfriend at the same time. I shouldn't be feeling like this.

But it's different with Abigail. Her eyes, lips, hair, the way she talks. I want her with me right now. Some attention. Something Ashley never gives me.

Ding!

A text message!

It's Abigail. I open it and she says:

Nothing much. Just thinking about our time together this morning :)

That text made me smile. I haven't smiled at a text message in so long. Especially from a girl.

I received a text from Ashley. She was telling me goodnight and she'll see me tomorrow at school. I text her back and send her a kissing emoji. But she doesn't end up reading it. I shrug and went on texting Abigail.
