chapter 14

Abigail's pov

We were about 10 minutes away from my house when Elijah says he should be heading back.

"You okay from here baby? I'm sorry I'm just really tired" Elijah tells me.

"Don't be sorry, it's okay. I'll see you soon. Be careful" I take his jacket off me and give it back to him.

He hugs me and walks away. A few seconds of continuing walking forward I hear someone grunt in pain. Immediately I turn around and see Elijah, Noel and Ashley. I run over and see what's going on.

"What the fuck Ashley!" I yell to her. Ashley and Noel had kicked Elijah to the ground, leaving him on the ground holding his stomach. This made me furious.

"Well look who it is" Noel chuckles. "What the hell are you doing here Abigail just go away!"

"No! You just kicked my b-"

Ashley and Noel raise an eyebrow. I knew i couldn't let them know me and Elijah were dating. That would only lead to a bigger mess. I look down at Elijah, who was still in pain.

"You just kicked my best friend!" I say correcting myself. Ashley shakes her head and turns to Noel.

"Why don't we say we take them both with us?"

"Babe, you know we can't do that. I said I only wanted Elijah"

I was shocked by this. "What we're you planning on doing to him"

"Just doing a little bit of threatening. Nothing major"

What? We're they out of their minds! Why couldn't they just talk to him face to face without taking him away with them and leave it at that. I'm just glad that I was able to rush over before things got a whole lot worse.

Noel's pov

It was almost midnight when me and my girl Ashley caught Abigail and Elijah walking. We knew they were dating it was way too obvious and honestly they were kind of bad at trying to hide it.

"Hey, isn't that your ex Elijah?" I say pointing him out to Ashley. She stops walking with me, which made me stop and squints her eyes at him.

"Yeah, that's him. What's he doing with Abigail?"

"Their clearly dating. Couldn't they make it any more obvious? Look at the two"

"Your right. Especially at this hour" Ashley adds on. I nod my head and that's when we saw Elijah walking away from Abigail. I took the opportunity and ran up to Elijah, punching him in the stomach.

He fell to the grounding, grunting in pain while holding his stomach. Immediately Abigail turned around and started rushing over here.

"Have fun with your little boyfriend" Ashley cackles. Abigail gave her a look.

"Fuck off, Ashley. You never loved him so why don't you just go away"

Abigail picked Elijah up carefully, trying to not make him in any more pain. "You okay?" She asks him.

"Yeah. Just knocked the wind outta me. I'll be fine. Go home"

Abigail nods and does what he says.

Me and Ashley walk away from the two and go in opposite directions that Abigail and Elijah. He was making his way home as well as Abigail. But we weren't done with them yet.
