chapter 10

                                Elijah's pov

It was hard witnessing my ex with her guy best friend. The pain still lingers but all I could is think about Abigail. I know I'm at fault to because I did cheat on Ashley, but I never had real love with anyone until I ran into Abigail. And I'm glad I did.

The clock says 11:17pm, just several hours after encountering that incident and last being with Abigail. I need to call Aiden.

Once Aiden arrives, my whole world stops spinning and I pull Aiden in for a hug.

"Your text didn't sound too good. Is everything alright?" Aiden asks me sitting on my couch. I sit down as well.

"Me and Ashley broke up"

"Wait what? Why?"

"I was on my way home and I caught them all snuggled up next together by a tree. So I broke up with her"

"I always knew she was a bad person. Noel will see the kind of person she is soon"

"That's what I was thinking. But what if she treats him better than she treated me. Giving him affection, love, etcetera."

Aiden pats my back with his hand and I sigh. This was all too much.

"We'll now that you're single didn't you say you liked that Abigail girl? Maybe you should make your move on her"

"I don't know. I'll give it time. I just got out of a two year relationship"

Aiden nods like he understands. I know he does he always understands and never judged my decisions and for that I'm forever grateful for him.

"Why don't we invite Ace over? He hasn't been over here in forever" I suggest. Aiden smiles and I sent Ace a text inviting him over to my home.

Within 10 minutes he knocks on the door and I opened it for him.

"Hey, Elijah" Ace smiles. "I'm so sorry about you and Ashley"

"Word getting around quick?" I ask him a bit nervous. He nods. I offered him a seat and the three of us all watch tv on the same couch. All I could think about was Abigail and what we did earlier today.

"What you smiling so big for?" Ace asks me, nudging my shoulder. I smile to myself.

"He's thinking about a girl" Aiden says to Ace. I shake my head.

"No?" Aiden asks me like he's second guessing himself.

"I mean I am but you two are just funny"

"You should get with your best friend, Abigail" Ace suggests.

"That's exactly what Aiden said, but I don't know. I'll give it time"

"And that's exactly what Elijah told me" Aiden says rolling his eyes jokingly. We all laugh.

"Well, why don't you text her and ask her how she's doing" Ace tells me pointing to my phone.

"You're right" I pick up my phone and text Abigail. She reads it a minute later and responds back to me.

I'm doing good how about you? I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow ;)

"She sent him a winky face!" Ace says jumping up, telling Aiden. He laughs.

"Yeah well.. that wouldn't be the first time" I say smirking.

"Ugh, get a room!" Aiden says laughing. Ace sits back down and looks at my phone to see our conversation.

"What should I say?" I ask Aiden. Aiden was always the biggest flirt and knew exactly what to say to girls.

"Tell her you're doing good as well and you're thinking about her. Girls love that, makes them smile"

Ace nods his head in agreement and I do just that. Abigail sends a smiling emoji along with her thinking of me as well.

"I.. want.. to.. see you" I say as I type those same words on my phone, sending the text to Abigail.

"Lovebirds!" Ace says. I roll my eyes and smile.

"Why don't you just fuck get already? You like her and she clearly likes you" Aiden suggests.

"Yeah, about that. We already did earlier today. After school. Thats why I was walking back home"

Ace and Aiden start clapping and whistling, acting like animals.

"Was she any good?" Ace asks me, being the freak he is.

"The best. Ughh, she made me feel things I've never felt before I swear.

"Go to her house right now" Ace says. "You should"

"Her parents are strict. I want to respect that"

"You two would be a good match. Tell her how you feel before it's too late" Aiden says to me.

He was right. I need to make her mine.
