Abigail's pov

The next morning I couldn't help but think about what had happened last night. I hope Elijah was okay. Getting up, I grab my phone and send him a good morning text, along with asking how he felt.

I'm fine don't worry about me. Get some rest.

He always was looking out for me. Once I'm up I can't go back to sleep so going back to bed wadnt sm option. It was a Friday. Finally. So I got up and fixed my hair, brushed my teeth and got dressed.

"Good morning honey" my mother says.

"Morning"

"Did you sleep okay?"

"I slept fine. Just tired still" I rub my eyes and make myself some waffles. My mom kisses my cheek and heads out for breakfast with some friends to catch up.

"I'll be back before you get back from school. Love you!"

"Love you too mom, be safe please!"

10 minutes go by and I walk myself to the bus stop. No Elijah today. Did he come to school or was he taking the day off? Surely he would've told me letting me know so I wouldn't worry.

The bus arrives 5 minutes later and I get on. I already see Valentina. I take my bag off and sit next to her. Placing my bag on the floor until we all got off for school.

"Hey, girl. How's life been?" Valentina asks me.

"Crazy and exciting" I sigh.

"I bet. What happened with you and Elijah? Anything going on?"

"Yes. Me and him are dating"

Her eyes light up and she smiles, wrapping her arms around me pulling me in for a hug.

"You two are the cutest!"

"Thanks. We hung out last night and it was a wreck"

"Did something happen?" She places a hand on my shoulder for comfort.

"Yes. Elijah ran into Ashley and Noel. He was walking me home and on his way back Noel came up to him and punched him.

"That's awful at least he had you still and you weren't too far away"

I nod. "I don't like seeing him in pain. It breaks my heart and even though it wasn't serious, who knows what they could do next"

The bus arrives at the school and everyone stands up to get off. Me and Valentines exit and step on the bus stairs to leave and make our way towards the school.

"No, Elijah huh?" Valentines asks me.

"Nope. Not today" I reply. She pats my back and we enter the school building. Having him not here is hard. He's the only thing that keeps me going and motivates me. God, I wish he was here.

Valentinas pov

Seeing Abigail upset made me feel upset too. Not only have we always shared our emotions but we also have a bond together and can understand each other without us saying anything.

"Don't worry about it. You can always see him over the weekend" I tell her, trying to make her feel better. Even though I knew her parents were strict, I also know about the times she snuck out of the house. So I know her and Elijah can do that still.

"Give it time" I say once more. "Everything will be okay with you two"

"Now I have to face Ashley and Noel though. What might they say?"

"Who cares what they say? Their pathetic losers. Don't waste your time worrying on them"

Abigail sighs and pulls me in for a hug. "Oh girl what would I do without you?"

I laugh and hug her back. We head to class 20 minutes later. Let's hope all goes well.

                               Summers pov

Me and Scarlett heard what happened. Everything. Abigail's relationship with Elijah, him getting punched last night, Abigail sneaking out the house again, etc. It's all getting too ridiculous. She doesn't seem so innocent as she did all those months ago.

Scarlett and I are plotting our revenge on Abigail. She knows Scarlett had the hugest crush on Elijah, her now so called boyfriend. I'll admit I did too but Scarlett is my best friend and I'll do everything I can do protect her.

"Don't be upset, Scarlett" I tell her running her shoulders down to her arm. She wipes a tear away.

"All those years ago I had a crush on him. And I would tell you and Abigail about it! Now she's dating him? Fucking whore"

I scoff in agreement with Scarlett. "I know. You should confront her about this"

"Hmm. You're right. I got an idea"

Scarlett tells me the idea and says we should make it look like Abigail is cheating on Elijah.

"Then he could find me and swoop into my arms, crying. And overtime we'll draw closer and closer, falling in love with me and being with me"

"You sure that will all go according to plan?" I question her.

"It has to. Hopefully. Fingers crossed!" And she walks away leaving me there alone in the hallway, along with a few other kids but I didn't know them.

She really isn't kidding. She will go out of her way to really get Elijah to be with her, even if it means to destroy other peoples friendships/relationships.

                               Scarlett's pov

Once I leave Summer alone in the half empty hallways, I rush over to Abigail to try and find her. I knew her schedule still so she wasn't hard too find at all.

I spot Abigail with Valentina. Of course they've always stuck around each other.

"Yo, Abigail!" I yell out to her. Immediately Abigail stops walking and looks at me.

I walk with a strut, hair going up and down as I walk, with each step I get closer and the tension between me and Abigail gets more intense.

"You fucking with Elijah now!" I yell again. She gulps, I look at the nervousness on her face and everyone is standing around, waiting what will happen next.
