Abigail's pov

Ever since me and Elijah's encounter at my house it's been different, but in a good way. He's still with his girlfriend Ashley. He wants to break up with her but Is scared of the consequences.

We've been texting back and forth for some time now and it's been great but I still do feel guilty about last night.

I told Valentina all about. I know I can trust her and that she wouldn't spread the news to anybody. Not even to his own girlfriend.

Elijah offered me a ride to school when he pulled up behind me and asked me to get in and I did.

He drove the two of us to school and we talked the whole way.

"Are you second guessing last night?" He asked me looking at me.

I shake my head truthfully. "No. I do feel guilty but I won't lie and say I didn't enjoy it either"

He places his hand on my thigh. "Don't feel guilty. She's not feeling guilty when she's messing around with her best friend"

"Noel? Aren't they just close?"

"A little too close if I do say so myself"

We arrive at the school and he holds my hand walking the two of us in. Immediately we get looks again but it doesn't matter. I don't care.

"What are you doing with my man?" Ashley scoffs. I raised an eyebrow confused.

"Oh, now you care about him? You didn't seem to care for him when your throwing yourself all over Noel"

Ashley rolls her eyes and turns to body to Elijah who shakes his head slightly.

"Are you breaking up with me?" Ashley whimpers. Clearly trying to guilt trip him.

"Of course not" Elijah chuckled softly. "Why would you think that?"

"The explain why you're holding hands with this ugly girl!"

"Calm down. Abigail is not ugly. Why are you talking to me anyways? We haven't spoken in person in like a week"

"I've been busy" Ashley mumbles.

"With your best friend Noel?" I say to her with a tone. She turns back to me and shoots me a glare but doesn't say nothing. She just walks away. I don't trust her.

~ After School~

It's the end of the day and I walk to the cafeteria so I can get to the front of the school and wait for my bus to come. Then I spot Ashley. Oh no.

"There she is!" Ashley shouts, pointing towards me. Two girls are standing behind her, shooting me looks and looking at me up and down. They walk over towards me.

"What do you girls want?" I ask huffily.

"You we're with my man this morning. Is there a reason why you think you can just walk into school holding his hand?" Ashley says, crossing her arms.

"I'm his best friend. And I did because we wanted to. If you gave him your attention like you do to Noel he wouldn't have to hold another girls hand"

The girls came up to her side. I now notice that Ashley was putting her hair up and taking he earrings out. Was she about to fight me? One of her friends held her earrings while the other girl smirked.

I did the same thing, pulling my hair back and quickly taking my earrings out, dropping them on the floor. I removed my backpack and threw it towards the wall.

"You want to fight me? Swing at me, bitch" I say to Ashley. She oohs and she started punching me. Both of her friends took their phones out and recorded the whole thing.

While I was on top of her I threw ad many punches as I could, hitting her eyes, face, and even her chest. I can't believe I was getting into a fight with my best friends girlfriend.
