Chapter 14: The Battle on the Bridge!

3rd POV:
The only sound heard was birds chirping in the distance as Gatō's Secret Hideout comes into view. The view then changes to inside Gatō's Secret Hideout with Haku standing near a window by Zabuza's bedside. Haku takes down his hair, making it fall past his back.

(Y/n)'s POV:
"Thank you for a lovely breakfast, Ms. Tsunami!" I said with a kind smile as I bowed my head. "It's not a problem, dear!" Ms. Tsunami said, smiling happily at me as she washed the others' dishes. "Oh! I have to go and find Naruto~Kun, he hasn't come to get his breakfast yet." I said as I grabbed Naruto's plate, bowed to Ms. Tsunami, and walked out of the house. I walked until I was at the front of the forest. I walked into the forest and finally got to the spot we were training and giggled/chuckled at the sleeping knucklehead.

Naruto had overworked himself once again. I admire that about the spiky blond knucklehead. I smiled gently and was about to wake Naruto up when I heard a rustle from the bushes behind me. I turned around with a Kunai Knife drawn, I scanned the trees trying to look for the person or creature who wandered into the area with me and Naruto. I relaxed a little when I saw a young female or male emerge from the trees with a half-filled basket of herbs. He smiled warmly at me, "Hello." The male said, I relaxed my stance and put my Kunai Knife away. "Hi!" I said with a happy smile.

~Back at the House~

3rd POV:
"Good morning, everyone," Sakura said, yawning as she walked into the dining room. "Here," Tsunami said, handing Sakura a plate of breakfast. "Oh, thank you," Sakura said. "Naruto and (Y/n)'s not here? Looks like he was out all night and (Y/n) is sleeping in." Tazuna said, "He's gone completely crazy. He's out climbing trees in the dark. He could be dead by now. You know, from using up too much of his Chakra. And (Y/n)~Chan wasn't in her room either, which I find a little weird." Sakura said, "Well, I certainly hope he's okay. A child spending the night in the woods alone." Tsunami said, worried. "There's nothing to worry about. Naruto is a goofy kid, but he's also a full-fledged ninja. He can handle himself. I'm not sure where (Y/n) is at, but she can take care of herself too." Kakashi said, messing with his gloves. "Sakura's right. Naruto's such a loser. He's probably lying out there dead somewhere." Sasuke said, getting up. "(Y/n) woke up before anyone and left about an hour ago with a plate of breakfast for Naruto." Tsunami said, washing more dishes. Sasuke started walking to the door "Sasuke?" Sakura asked, Sasuke stopped walking. "I'm going for a walk." Sasuke said, "Uh, but we just started eating." Sakura said as she turned to look at Sasuke's plate to her surprise his food was all gone. "That was fast," Sakura said.

~Back with (Y/n)~

(Y/n)'s POV:
"I'm sorry about earlier, I was a little tense," I said, scratching the back of my head with a smile. "I can see you are very protective of your loved ones." The male said with a raised eyebrow. "I guess I am," I said as I laughed nervously. The male nodded and smiled a kind smile but then started looking around. "Excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you but I'm looking for some more herbs. I'll be out of the way in a few." The male said, trying to find these herbs.

I shook my head with a smile. "Oh, no you're not bothering me at all. In fact, I can help you with your search, if you'd like my help that is. I know all types of herbs, my clan studied and grew all kinds of them!" I offered with a kind smile. The young male looked surprised about my offer but nodded anyway. "I'm looking for herbs that are good at treating illnesses in human wounds." The young male said. I looked at the basket full of herbs, then back at the young male. "You need herbs that are good at treating illnesses and human wounds? Is someone hurt? I can help heal whatever needs to be healed in the human body." I said, smiling happily as the young male looked more surprised. The young male shook his head out of his surprised state and smiled softly. "You are very kind, but the injuries are minor and really only need time to heal. I thank you for your generous offer anyway." The young male said, smiling gently.
