Chapter 18: The Powerful Weapons known as Shinobi!

3rd POV:
Inari pants as he's running through town. "Onee~Chan, Naruto and the others are fighting and risking their lives, while the rest of us do nothing. We've got to fight too!" Inari said, as he continues to run with determination to help Team 7.

Inari finally reached his Uncle Giichi's house, banging on the door begging his uncle to help him fight for his land. "Uncle Giichi, Uncle Giichi, hurry! Come to the bridge with me! We don't have to hide any longer! If we all fight together, we can finally take Gatō down! I know we can!" Inari said, with determination as he tried to convince his uncle. Inari went to turn the door knob but heard it lock, making him flinch. "No, Inari, I've given up fighting. Fighting is for heroes... like your father. You see what good it did for him. Isn't one dead hero enough?" Uncle Giichi asked with a shaky breath. "What will more fighting bring us but more fallen heroes and more regrets? No, Inari, my heart is already full of enough regrets to last a lifetime." Uncle Giichi said, sadly. Inari tightened his fist, not ready to give up. "Well, I don't want to live a life of regrets, either. And that's why we've got to fight! I know you care about everyone in the village, and so do I. You and Mother and Grandfather and everyone. That's why we have to fight! All my life I've been a coward, but now I know that crying and hiding from things that we're afraid of doesn't make them go away." Inari said, but turned around with a grunt and ran down the steps. Uncle Giichi groaned, as he could feel his heart hurt for not helping Inari. Uncle Giichi leaned up against the door as Inari yelled to people to hurry and come to the bridge with him, making Uncle Giichi widened his eyes. "Our little Inari has become a man." Uncle Giichi's wife said as she knitted in the dining room. "And you, dear, are you sure you want to send him off all on his own?" Uncle Giichi's wife said aa Uncle Giichi sweats as he tries to decide if he wanted to help Inari or hide in doors.

Inari knocked on doors trying to see if someone, anyone, would help him. "Is anyone there? Hello! Come to the bridge with me and fight!" Inari yelled as he continued to knock on the doors. Inari pants from exhaustion, then turned around. "What do I do now? Not one of them will even open their door to listen. Uh..." Inari said to himself, trying to figure out a way to help his Grandfather and Team 7. Inari remembers the little talk with you and Naruto. "Well, then, if no one will help..." Inari thought and he began to run again.

~With Haku, Naruto, and Sasuke~

"Go on. Finish it. Kill me. Why do the two of you hesitate? I thought you wanted to be a mighty warrior." Haku said, making both Naruto and Sasuke grunt, trying to decide. "That's not what it's about! Do you really believe that's all there is to it, just fighting and killing until there's only one man left standing?" Naruto asked as Sasuke glared at Haku. "There's a lot more to being Shinobi than that, and there are other ways of showing your strength than just by beating someone in battle!" Naruto said, holding his fist tightly. "I've had a feeling all along, from the first moment she and I met in the woods. That you, her, and I are a lot alike." Haku said, making Naruto and Sasuke widen their eyes in both surprise and confusion. "I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm only sorry that it must be your hands that are tainted with my unworthy blood." Haku said, calmly. "Sure about this? And you're positive that it's the only way?" Naruto asked as Sasuke looked over at Haku. "Yes." Haku said with a blank face. Naruto and Sasuke widen their eyes in surprise with grunts. "The weird thing is, if we met in another time and place, I think that maybe me, you, Sasuke, and... (Y/n)~Chan... Could have been friends." Naruto said, then he and Sasuke opened their eyes with a burning flame and ran at Haku, pulling out a Kunai Knife. "Yes, that's right. Hold fast to your dreams." Haku said to Naruto and Sasuke as they continued to charge at Haku. "This is for (Y/n)~Chan, because she also had a dream!" Naruto and Sasuke yelled, charging at Haku with full speed and yelling. "Thank you, Naruto, Sasuke. Strike true." Haku thought, closing his eyes as he waited for the blow. Haku widened his eyes as he could feel that Zabuza was in danger, as Naruto and Sasuke continued to charge at Haku with a yell. Haku stopped Naruto and Sasuke's blows with one quick movement. "Sorry, Naruto, Sasuke, change of plan." Haku said, as he held Naruto and Sasuke's arm in one hand then did a Jutsu in the other. "I'm not ready to die quite yet." Haku said, then disappeared.
