Ace pov

We got the present which was bigger than I had thought it was. The outside looks really small but the inside was big. Had cops crawling everywhere, some cops had other guys cuffed. There was this one man screaming random shit like "she loves me, I'll kill him, I'm married, I killed him, Williams is dirty." Fucking crackheads. He looks like he is on drugs. I kinda wanted to join the police academy after I graduated but since I'm probably gonna get arrested that's outta the question.

Walner had to put in a passcode into some doorknob. Pretty sure it's an investigation room.
He took off the cuffs from my hands. Directed for me to sit on a chair. He seemed a little nicer than the other guy but looks can be deceiving.

"So-"

"First I wanna make a phone call." These fuckers think they slick. I get a phone call before anything. I already got investigated at the diner.

"You only get one so make a smart choice." He gives me his phone and walks out the room. I started to dial val cell, but I don't know if she has it so I dialed the house. hopefully shes home.

val: hello?

I don't even know what to say.

me: so I uh, I got into some trouble.

I chuckle nervously.

val: ...what type of trouble?

she asked cautiously.

me: Well if you had never fucked him this wouldn't had happen

Val: what are you talking about?

Me: babe just come down here and get me out.

I heard her sigh on the other side.

Val: what the fu- ohhh I get it. I'll be right there. which one?

Me: 9876 the one 6 minutes from the diner.

Val: No worries i'm coming.

Valentina POV

When I had got the call from Ace i was a little shocked. I mean sooner or later Ace was gonna have Julain's ass for what he did, but the police being mixed up in it is a different situation.

I got to the present and there was police expecting me. They let me in and lead me to the waiting room, or something. It was juts a blank room with other people in it. A couple minutes later Ace came out rushing towards me. He squeezed his arms tight around me almost lifting me off the floor. "God I missed you." I smiled slightly at the comment. I've missed him too. not to long ago I was cursing him out for leaving me in the house by myself. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to drag you into this mess but your the whole person I wanted to call."

"Why?" I laughed, he could've called his dad. "Well because I wanted to hear your voice." Kissed him quickly on the lips feeling embarrassed after I did that. "what was that for?" he had that cocky look on his face whenever I did something bold. "Just cause, plus aren't I suppose to be your girlfriend?" Ace smiled and kissed me on my lips but for a bit longer "yes you are." a whole bunch of butterflies took over my stomach, I felt like my knees were going weak.

"Ok so tell me how the hell you ended up here."

"Right, so when I left I was looking for Julian to obviously whop his ass. Found him at the diner bragging about how he got you and I beat him. the cops came and now they're trying to get to the bottom of this whole thing."

"Ace, I knew I said I didn't want to press charges but... I don't know how to tell you..."
