Katara's POV:
"WHAT?!" I exclaimed. Toph wants to ask out Sokka? Toph looked startled. "Uh... Hi Katara. You didn't hear anything, did you?"

My mouth dropped. "Oh I heard plenty! Toph, how long have you liked Sokka!?"

"Um, I have no idea what you mean-" I stopped her, putting my hand on her shoulder. "Tell me the truth, Toph."

Toph hung her head. "Since...well, since I met him, I guess..." If only Katara knew it was do much more than just "like". The cold air blew the flaps of the tent that we were in. "I'm sorry Toph, but Sokka and Suki are together now. And though they may not have the healthiest relationship for goodness-knows-why, I can't say they'll break up anytime soon. To be honest, I always kind of knew that you liked him." Toph looked up with a half-smile.

I didn't expect to hear this kind of news today (or ever, really), but here I was.

Toph put her hands on her sides. "Uh, are we leaving soon or what? Aang and I had just come here to get you." I was confused. "Get me for what, exactly?"

"Didn't Aang tell you? He's bringing everyone, meaning the rest of the Gaang, to the Northern Air Temple, and after that we're making our way to Kuang's Diner."

I smacked my face with the palm of my hand. "Ugh, Aang..." He knows how much I hate Kuang's. The food isn't terrible, It's just the place itself. The seats are disgusting, the customers are unruly and wild, and the cooks yell all the time, making it hard to hear my own thinking. Aang loves it, mostly because they've got the best tofu in town.

Toph shrugged. "It's not that bad, Katara." I sighed heavily. "I suppose we might as well hurry." I said, making my way to Appa and Aang.

"Well Aang, where are we going first?" I said.

AT THE FIRE NATION PALACE

3rd Person POV:

"Oh no, we are NOT riding on Appa." Zuko said. "C'mon Zuko, we've got to get to the Air Temple somehow!" Aang exclaimed. Mei tapped on his shoulder and gave him a look. "Have we got a choice, Zuko? You know he won't leave you alone until you get on the sky bison, right?"

Toph was getting little impatient. She just wanted to see Sokka. Is it wrong that I kinda want Suki to miraculously break both her legs and not be able to come? She thought. "Right, Toph?" Katara called out. "Hm?" She replied. Katara sighed. "All that sighing isn't good for you, Sugar Queen."

She huffed and crossed her arms. "I was just saying that riding on Appa would be good for us because, y'know, for old times sake! Like we used to do!" Toph nodded. "Yeah, I guess it would." She replied. "Ha! See? Even Toph agrees! So lets go!" Katara yelled.

Zuko gave up, climbing on Appa first. "Are you coming, Mei?" She shook her head. "No, someone's gotta stay here and take of all the requests that are still coming in from the Royal Board. Besides, this is your guy's thing, I wouldn't wanna ruin it."

Aang and Katara looked at each other. Ruin it with what, exactly? they both thought. Every hopped on, waving goodbye to Mei. "Alright, is everybody ready?" Aang asked. "Yes, Aang." They all said in unison, not that enthusiastic. "Gee, tough crowd, right Appa? Yip, yip!"

I really miss Sokka.... Toph thought.

Thanks so much for 101 views so far! I'm really excited to be writing this since I've been a Tokka shipper since I first watched Avatar (which was years ago, but I've re-watched it like, 12 times, sooo....) But once again, thank you!
