A/N: This one is a little short, but I just wanted some chapters to shed light on each perspective, starting with Toph and Sokka.

Toph stormed out of the diner, taking a deep breath of fresh air to calm her down. They wanna act like strangers, then fine... Toph thought. She sat on a chair that was outside next to a table. She lifted her head up towards the sky, wishing she could see the stars that everyone always talked about. She heard footsteps behind her. Why does everyone walk up behind me... "Who's there?" Toph asked. "Give me all your money, or I'll force you to become a vegetarian!" A voice said. Toph smiled. "I'd rather go broke, Sokka."

"I'm glad we're on the same page, Aang just made me try tofu, and it sucks." Sokka said chuckling. He pulled up a chair next to her and sat down. The two sat in silence for about 5 minutes until Sokka spoke up. "I'm sorry about what happened in there, Toph." Toph used her sense to see if he was lying, but only felt his sincerity. "Apology accepted.....But, I guess I shouldn't have gotten mad." I want to hug her, but that'd be a little weird... Sokka thought. So he stayed there, knowing he was forgiven.

Out of the blue, he asked "Are you still with Kanto?" Toph raised an eyebrow. "Yeah...Why?" She replied. "No reason, really. Just wondering. How's it going with you two?" Toph crossed her arms. "First and worst relationship I've been in really." She put her hands over her mouth, not meaning to say something so personal. Sokka was surprised. "Why do you say that? He's hasn't hurt you, has he? 'Cause if he has, I'll make he sure he feels the wrath of my boomerang-" Toph shook her head. "No, he just shelters me a lot. I hate it."

Sokka didn't want to be a bother, but there was something he had to know. "Then why are you two still together?" Toph sighed. She didn't know why, but she felt like now was the time to really say something, especially to Sokka. "He's...He's planning on marrying me." Sokka sat up in his chair. "What do you mean? This is your very first relationship! He's not forcing you to do this, right?" Toph stayed quiet. Sokka grabbed her arm gently. "Toph, you need to tell me what's really going on." Toph looked up at him. Though she couldn't see his face, she felt him right in front of her. A single tear rolled down her face. "Please, Toph. Don't cry, I-I just want to know what's got you so upset. I swear if he's done anything to you, I'll shave his eyebrows off."

Toph couldn't even laugh, the tears were still coming down hard and fast. She barely spoke in a whisper, saying, "He got me pregnant, Sokka." She buried her face in her hands, refusing to say another word. Sokka wrapped her in a hug, and Toph didn't hesitate to hug back. Without warning, he kissed her forehead. Toph felt herself blush, but stayed in his arms. She only had enough energy to punch him in the arm just once. Sokka had always felt like he had to comfort and protect Toph, but this time it felt different. He wanted to take every burden off of her chest, and make her feel warm and safe for once. He blushed right along with her, wondering if allergies was just the reason why he had gotten hot so suddenly.

They didn't say anything else for the remainder of their time there. Just silence, and each other's presence.
