A/N: This chapter takes place after Toph stormed out of the diner
Katara, Sokka, Zuko and Aang watched as Toph stomped away from the table. "Same old Toph, I guess." Zuko said. Suki sighed. "I think its safe to say we're all at fault, here." Everyone nodded.
Katara sighed and wrapped her arm around Aang. "I'm sorry this didn't work out the way I wanted it to. I just really missed you guys." Aang said. Zuko gave a small smile. "It's alright, buddy. We all missed each other. Uncle has been nagging me for months to try and get together with you guys, but I never did."
"I'm sorry, too. I bet you guys have noticed that I've been a bit grumpy lately." Suki said. "Whaaat??? No way, really? We had no---absolutely NO IDEA!" Katara, Aang and Zuko stuttered. Sokka nodded his head. Suki gave him a glare. "Yeah. It's true. It's just...never mind. Let's talk about something else." Zuko took a deep breath before saying, "The elders say me and Mei have to produce an heir within 10 years, but I have no idea how Mei feels about it." Everyone gasped. "Wow, Zuko. Um...Well, how do you feel about it?" Zuko shrugged. "I feel like I've got enough time to think about it, but I don't wanna push Mei if she doesn't feel comfortable having kids at all." Sokka raised his hand."You guys wanna hear about what I've been doing?"
"Not really." The whole table said unison. Sokka gasped. "Well that's not very nice!" Katara shrugged. "All you ever talk about is 'I'm a councilman' this and 'I'm a councilman' that. You never really tell us what you do."
"Well nothing much goes on at meetings, Toph is a police trainee at the Republic City Police Department, but nothing goes on with her either. It's like Republic City is more boring that we thought!"
Everyone shrugged. Aang speared a piece of his tofu onto his fork. "Hey Sokka, wanna try some?" Sokka gagged. "Uhh...I don't know Aang. Looks...Inedible." Aang insisted. "C'mon! Try some! It's very good for you! I think..." Katara chuckled. "Don't be a pig-chicken, Sokka. It can't be that bad." Sokka scrunched up his face."Ehhh....You know, I should go check on Toph real quick...And maybe not come back-"
Aang shoved the tofu in his mouth. "Good, now chew! Tell me how it tastes!" Sokka whined and began to chew. The color left his face as he groaned in disgust. He reluctantly swallowed it ( I know what you thinkin, so stop thinkin it). Aang threw back his head and laughed. "Is it really that bad, Sokka?" Zuko asked. Suki and Katara couldn't stop laughing. Sokka stood up and exited the diner. Aang was still laughing when he fell back onto a cart that was sitting behind him, and he heard crunching. "Uh oh, I think I broke someone's stuff." He said. He stood up, looking behind him to see that it was cart full of now ruined cabbages. "Aw, c'mon! In Kuang's?!"
"Aang, what's-" Katara looked where all the mess was. "Oh sweetie, not again..." Suki gasped and Zuko shook his head. "Every time, Aang." In the distance they could hear a voice calling towards them. "MY CABBAGES!!!"
