Until Dawn - Preparing. (Part 2)

It had been a few years since the Marauders had left school, Lily and James had gotten themselves a house which was often invaded by the rest, Sirius mainly. Allie and Remus decided to end their relationship due to the pressures surrounding them, Remus felt that she was unsafe now, more than ever. The two continued as friends, Allie had managed to get herself a house and was very pleased with how far her and her friends had come, during such difficult times. Lily and James were proud to announce their engagement to the gang, creating a very baffled Sirius. She knew marrying James meant she was married the entire gang and so did he, but that they were willing to take.

"I do," James smiled at Lily as he looked deeply into her green eyes on their wedding day.

"You may kiss the bride" The priest announced, James kissed Lily passionately before he picked his bride up and carried her to carriage outside, taking them to the party. Allie made it her mission to get to the party before Lily not wanting to rain the surprise, with luck on her side she made it in time,

"Lily and you James, cover your eyes! No peeking James," Annie covered James' eyes making sure he wasn't peeking, while Allie did the same to Lily. Remus, Peter, and Sirius helped guide the newly wed into the grand hall decorated in mystical blues, whites, and silvers. Balloons hung in the corners of the halls while over scattered themselves throughout the dance floor, crystals like snow, hung from the ceiling creating a dim light around their area. A table filled with food and an elegantly decorated,3 tear cake was decorated with pale blue ribbon which also had decorated bows on the back of the chairs. A large dance floor framed by fairy lights stood out.

"What'd ya think?" Allie asked revealing the room to Lily and James. Lily clapped her hands to her face,

"Allison this is amazing! You did a wonderful job, I love it" Lily practically screeched in excitement, the couple run into the room and sat at their special table surrounded by their brides' maids and best men, everyone sat down for food and speeches before dancing to both muggle and wizard music.

"I'd like to say a few words" Sirius began standing up. "Deerly beloved, family and friends, it behoves to deliver this speech to two of the purest hearts I know, two individuals so fawned of each other that it completely bucks the notion of superficial love. Doe they will surely go through many trials and tribulations in the years ahead- many high and low points; stag-nant periods, when their love seems fallow- I know as someone who knows them best, that they will not allow themselves to fall into a rut. When it is all over, and people are sitting around telling tails of these two, they'll be telling each other the purest love story anyone has ever herd. Thank you"

The crowd applauded Sirius and continued to eat, after food everyone took the opportunity to get up and dance into the night when a few muggle songs such as the hokey Pokey and the Macarena, Lily loved it and all her muggle friends, even a few witches and wizard friends joined in creating a night for James and Lily to remember. Towards the end of the night Allison requested a slow song for the bride and groom's special dance. James took Lily's soft pale hands in his and led the way to the empty dance floor, the music began to play, a slow tempo creating a beautiful melody for them to sway to, James leads the dance constantly looking into Lily's beautiful green eyes, he twirled her, and her flowy, white dress decorated with silver beads, crystals and diamonds twirled with her. Everyone watched as they two danced like fairies in and out of the sun rays....

During the war, James and Lily still managed to share their light with the others, keeping them all out of the dark. Anastasia, due to work had to move abroad on a mission meaning she missed out on many events...
