Chapter 57: Year 7

Rachel

Once we left Katie Rae and Professor McGonagall we headed to Snape's office which was once Dumbledore's "Sir, there's no need for Rachel to be here she didn't do anything." Draco admits, Snape gives him a questionable look "You aren't in trouble Malfoy so stop your unnecessary bickering." Snape says.

"Ms. Jacobs I have one final task for you" a silence fills the room I swallow in fear, feeling a lump in my throat. "And that is?" I fearfully ask.

"Make amends with your sister"

"Im sorry can you repeat that Headmaster." I say in a mockingly tone "This task is not from the Dark Lord but from me." Snape whispers I look at Draco with worry in his eyes that this is a trap somehow someway.

"Make amends with her so I can convice her to join us right?" I question.

"No Ms. Jacobs the simple task is to make amend with your sister." Snape mumbles I cross my arms in confusion

"Now considering you both are late for Class i suggest you make your way to where you need to be." He takes a seat in his Chair and Draco and I awkwardly make our way out.

"What just happened?" Draco asks in a confused tone I shrug not knowing what to do next.

I couldn't make amends with her, not when she hates me. I thought to myself.

Within the next month everything has changed, My sister hasn't even acknowledged my existence along with Draco's The only people I talk to now is Blaise and Draco, Blaise and I sometimes don't get along but he doesn't really get along with anyone.

for the remaining of the School year I've been staying in Draco's dorm I haven't been able to sleep by myself recently so I've been staying with Draco.

We're now in Muggle studies, Alecto Carrow is 'Teaching' when really she's telling us how all the muggleborns should be burned. I'm sure if Hermione was here she'd defend herself over what Alecto is Saying.

Finally we're dismissed I make my way out of the classroom as fast as possible "Rachel w-wait!" I hear a shyly voice says I turn around and see Neville walking towards me, I slowly but secretly hold my wand inside my robe just incase.

"I have a note for you." He says giving me a piece of Parchment. I look down at it as it says my names on the front "Who's it from" I ask as I look up but he's gone. I unfold the parchment reading what it says.

Rachel,

Meet me in the Gryffindor common room please.

Finally she actually acknowledges me we can be okay again, I put the Parchment in the pocket of my robes and make my way to her common room.

I slowly enter the Common room looking around as nothing looks familiar, it doesn't look like how it use to. I feel a shudder down my spine realizing its freezing in here I walk over to Katie Rae's bedroom knocking before I came in The lights were off But I walk in anyways. "Kate?" I question amongst the Darkness.

I feel like I've been here before.

I'm getting ready to see Cedric, I take a shower, then get into comfortable pajamas I turn my lights off in my dorm and procced to walk to the boys dorms to Cedric's I knock three times before I enter, for some reason it was pitch black "Cedric? " I say into the Darkness all of a sudden I'm being pinned to a wall "Some one is in a mood huh" I question "Yeah I am in a mood a fucking angry one" I pause, knowing that wasn't Cedric's voice.

As I Remember that moment it Hit me that My sister never wrote that note "Lumos" I whisper hoping Its not what it seems.

There he stood, in the light of my wand, holding out his wand, ready to kill me any second, I slowly back away and blot towards the door But I'm too late as he grabs my arms, pinning me towards the wall making me drop my wand.

"Fred let go of me!" I exclaim trying to fight out of his grip "Why? so you can kill me just like you tried killing my brother?" He says through gritted teeth I stop struggling out of his grip, I laugh "That's a really funny joke Freddie." I say in a mocking tone with a smile.

"Cut the bullshit, you hurt my family so now it's your turn." He now holds his wand against my neck I frown now terrified "Not so funny now huh Jacobs?" he questions.

"Fred, I know we have never seen eye to eye but trust me I would never Hurt George." I say, now making eye contact with him.

"trust you?!" He exclaims in fits of laughter "Now that's a funny joke, I haven't trust you since your fourth year Rachel." He puts more pressure on my neck with his wand.

"George is missing an ear because of you." He pauses "He loved you, and even after he found out you were a death eater he still defended you in the family, because he loved you that much and you turn around and try to kill him?" Fred now has tears in his eyes, not sad but Angry tears, full of hatred tears.

"But I didn't." I mumble a tear now falling down my cheek in fear. He sighs in frustration suddenly he backs away but keeping his wand aimed at me and goes over to the dresser grabbing a small glass bottle. he comes back up to me.

"if you're telling the truth drink this." He says in a forceful tone with no hesitation I grab it out of his hand and Drink it. "Now tell me the truth did you try to kill George?" He question continuing to aim his wand at me.

"No I didn't, Another Death eater tried casting a spell at George but Snape casted Sectumsepra on the Death eaters wand but missed." I say truthfully. He sighs, once more but more in relief.

"Can I go now?" I ask him hoping he doesn't ask anymore questions.

"Do you regret getting the Dark Mark?" He doesn't make eye contact with me.

"No" I pause "But I do regret living in fear of Voldemort, I do regret that I didn't have him take my life right then and there instead of becoming a death eater." I say trying to hold back my tears.

He lowers his wand no longer seeing me as a threat. "Do you love my brother like you say you do." Refocusing back on my eyes. I nod "I love him with ever fiber in me." I mumble Fred smirks but hides it as he walks away. "Get out." He says Harshly he may believe me but I know he is still very disappointed in me.

I make my way toward the door "Hey Rachel?" I turn around meeting eyes with Fred once more "Just a reminder Cedric would be very disappointed in you, especially since you've joined the side of the people whos killed him." Fred says with a smile on his face knowing has enjoying this shivers send through my spine once more.

"Goodbye Fred." and with that I shut the door and make my way to the Slytherin common room.

I walk in Draco's room unannounced I see his trunk laying on his bed I give him a strange look "Mum wants me at the Manor, they think they found potter and his friends." Draco says. I sigh He comes up to me

"It'll just be for a day or two just stick with Blaise I'll be back before you know it." He Kisses my forehead "Just be Careful Dray." I mumble, He nods "I will, I promise." He says I Hug him tightly knowing these two days will be the longest two days of my life.

"I love you Dray." I mumble in his shoulder he wipes my tears "I love you too Rach." we sit there for awhile in silence just holding each other not knowing what's to happen with him nor I while we are separated.

and with that he apparated to the Manor leaving me in his bedroom alone once again.
