Chapter 51: Last day/ Summer of Year six

Rachel

I never once saw myself as a murderer, Hell I never saw myself as a Death Eater, but here we are, As I'm heading to the great Hall for Dinner I feel a Presence, I stop in my footsteps and slowly look around the empty Halls as I quickly turn around I draw my wand. 

"Put your wand away Ms. Jacobs" Professor Snape says I slowly put my wand away "Sorry Professor." Is all I manage to say "Mr. Malfoy is looking for you he's in the room of Requirments." Snape whispers to me I nod my head " Might I ask before you leave, have you asked your sister?" He questions 

I exhale wishing He didn't ask that "Not yet sir, I haven't had time." I lie He keeps eye contact with me "I suggest you do it sooner than later Ms. Jacobs." He mumbles I nod, quickly turning to make my way to the Room of Requirments.

Once I made it I saw Draco Standing in front of the Vanishing Cabinet "Dray? whats wrong?" I ask him all he does is look at me with tears in his eyes "Draco?" I say once more he wraps my hand in his, its tonight, they want me to Kill Dumbledore tonight." He says with a breaking tone. I put my hand on his face for comfort, "I'm coming with you-" 

"No you're staying here!" He exclaims backing away from me "Draco we are in this together, You protect me, I protect you, I'm with you until the end" I walk closer to him as I wrap my arms around him in comfort its silent between us 

"I'm so scared Rachel" He mumbles into my shoulder, I lift my head to meet his eyes "I'm scared too but it's going to be okay." I say he stares into my eyes, it falls silent once again.

I started to lean in I stand still not doing anything his lips touch mine for just a split second, he then pulls away realizing I'm not kissing back "Draco you know I'm dating George" I whisper, his hand resting on my chin.

"Doesn't mean I can't stop how I've been feeling for three years now" he whispers back.

"I'll wait for you, as long as it takes." Was the last thing he said then proceeded to make his way to the Great Hall.

so many thoughts process through my mind as I'm leaving the Room of Requirements I see Harry "Oh hello Harry" I mumble he gives me a strange look "Are you Okay?" He asks I nod in response "better than ever" I lie he Nod then proceeds to walk away.

"Harry!" I exclaim grabbing his attention, He turns back around "Yes Rachel?" He question walking closer "The astronomy tower is a really good place to be tonight, I hear there's suppose to be a meteor shower" I say He smiles "Thanks Rachel, I'll keep that in mind" He proceeds to walk off. 

Why did I tell him to be at the astronomy tower tonight? Because perhaps he could save Draco, sure they're aren't fans of each other but something is bound to happen.

As I'm walking into the Great Hall I see Owl's flying everywhere Must be mail day I sit down at the Gryffindor Table with my sister, She smiles at me and continues talking  to Dean and Seamus, suddenly Mail falls right in front of me  I look at who its from 

George Weasley 

I look over at Katie Rae she shrugs just as clueless as I am I open the letter gently not wanting to tear or rip it. 

Rachel,

meet me at the joke shop we need to talk, tonight.

I start to feel nervous as to what this could be about, I fold the letter and turn to Katie "You didn't tell George anything did you." I whisper She shakes her head, "Of course not" She admits I nod my head trusting her "Well I'll see you later." I say and Leave the Great Hall.
