Chapter 25: Last day of Year 4

Once I finished breakfast, Cedric and I head back to my Dorm, as we were walking the halls I feel someone tug at the back of my robes I stop in my tracks, along with Ced and turn to see who it was.

"Can we talk?" George asks "I don't think there anything to talk about." Cedric says getting a little defensive "Listen here Diggory-" George starts to say, getting closer to Cedric.

I step in between them to stop whatever was going to happen. "Stop." I say they both look at me, and take a few steps away from each other. I turn to Cedric "I'll be right back okay?" Reassuring Cedric, He hesitates, but continues to nod anyways. I look back at George and we walk away from Cedric.

"What's up?" I ask him "Listen about earlier-" 

"Its fine, I caught on that, that was Fred pretending to be you." I state "Oh really, how'd you catch on?" He asks, crossing his arms I froze in place, thinking of what to say. "It's just easy to tell you guys apart." I lie.

"So you would really lie to George if he was to ask?" He says I give him a confused look "Fred?!" I exclaim, He laughs in response, I then playfully hit him on the shoulder. "Why do you keep doing this?" I question 

"To make sure you don't tell anyone our dirty little secret." He warned. "Why would I? I'd have a angry Sister, a angry, George, and a Angry Cedric." I admit as I cross my arms. He rolls his eyes in a jokingly manner "Forget about Cedric." He blurts. 

"Whatever I'll see you later Fredrick." I tease. leaving him in the Hallway. "Don't Call me that!" He exclaims from the other end of the Hallway.

I finally Reach my dorm, as I walk in I see rose pedals on the floor and Candles I look around amazed But don't see Cedric anywhere "Ced?" I say, wondering around the room. He appears, walking out of the bathroom "Hello Beautiful." He smiled.

"What's all of this for?" I ask, I feel my cheeks turn red. "Rachel Sinclair Jacobs." He announces as He is now grabbing my hand and intertwining mine, with his.

"You know I hate my middle name." I admit He laughs a little, as do I. 

He rest his hand onto my cheek and proceeds to kiss me, it was a sensual kiss. He pulls away Immediately pulling out a black box. 

Is he proposing?! "Cedric-" I say trying to stop him "I'm not proposing." He quickly says laughing a little, reassuring me. He opens the box. Inside was a Necklace with a ring on the chain I slightly pick it up and give him a confused look. 

"Look inside the ring darling." He states I look inside the ring that is on the chain 

"Wanna race?"  is what it reads I smile up at him he's now holding another necklace, but its around his neck I hold the necklace he is wearing around his neck to read the other ring.

"We can race through life together." Is what the other one reads Tears form in my eyes As I cover my mouth in shock "Cedric its beautiful." I admit, He smiles and takes the Necklace "We've been dating for six months now and I though maybe it was time for a promise in our relationship." He says Locking the necklace around my neck. 

"You told me how you always hate losing your rings so I put them as Necklaces instead." He continues. I Kiss him Passionately, He kisses back I pull away and Meet eyes with him "I love-" I start to say He raises his eyebrows in hope.

"The necklace" I hesitantly say His smiles fades, but very little The thing about that is, every time I tell someone I love them I get my heart broken each time, with Draco, and with my Parents . Its just not easy to say it now.
