after that weird scene with camilo i decided to help out felix and agustin, husbands of pepa and julieta, with their normal everyday chores—cleaning.
"i'm telling you, this is the best thing in the whole world!" felix beamed as we together swept the floors of the balcony.
"we're just cleaning mr.felix." i responded, the two snickered at me and put down their brooms against the sage wooden railings.

"come with us." said agustin as the two began to walk towards pepa's room, slamming the door open, we were met with a beautiful room with wallpaper rain and golden wood flooring. the chandelier that stood in the middle of the room was made out of delicate crystals that would resemble the shape of a rain cloud, some portraits of pepa alongside her husband and kids were scattered all over her desk and bedside table.

"we do much more than just cleaning lara!" said felix "we explore." he winked before throwing himself onto the bed he shared with his wife.
"it's fun!" agustin chuckled, i smiled at the two.
"come on! the bed is like a cloud!" said felix as he closed his eyes in relaxation, he wasn't lying, the bed was indeed a cloud.

"watch out mi amigo!" said agustin before jumping onto the bed with his friend, the two laughed together as the cloud moved a little by the harsh movement.
"come on chiquita!" said felix, gesturing me to jump in as well, i sighed and slowly made my way on top of the bed.

the softness and warmth of the cloud felt like heaven, it was just so soft and cozy, i wouldn't mind being stuck to it my whole life. what a perfect place to fall asleep on.
"come on let's go somewhere else!" said felix with both him and agustin pulling me out of the bed, soon enough reaching julieta's.

her room was a sort of edwardian styled bedroom with portraits of mirabel, luisa, and isabella with manuela together alongside some old weddings photos with agustin.
"meh, let's go on another one." said felix with a blank face.
"oh you." agustin rolled his eyes as he followed the man in yellow, i closed the door and walked closely behind the pair.

we passed by the rooms of dolores, carlos and camilo before the men decided to go inside antonio's, i bit my lip and i glanced at the rooms we skipped.
"can't we go to their rooms first?" i asked, felix and agustin looked at each other before giving me synchronized shrug.
"we don't like going inside those." said felix while the three of us made our way inside antonio's room.

a beautiful green scenery maintained by a giant tree with a small pond and an office that stood close to the door, some animals like roedors and fellow birds such as toucans and brazilian parrots.
"why not?" i asked sitting down next to the pond the two men slid their feet in.
"too complicated." agustin sighed  receiving a scoff from his friend.

"agustin's right," said felix "dolores' room isn't as fun as this one." said felix pointing his finger at the giant tree upon us "carlos' is a total mess," agustin nodded "and camilo's doesn't work when he's out of the house." felix complained.
"have you ever been in their rooms?" i asked, the two men looked at eachother.
"well we did see dolores and carlos' but not camilo's." said agustin.
"i think the first and ever time we saw his room was when he got it." felix shrugged.

"oh." i said while processing their explanation.
"speaking of rooms, do you remember the first time we saw bruno's room?" asked agustin with a smile on his face.
"it was a nightmare!" felix groaned while rubbing the side of his temples.
"yeah, i almost died!" agustin chuckled.

"how so?" i asked with a frown, the two then looked down at me.
"oh bruno has this room with a giant staircase up to his bedroom, we tried climbing them but we eventually died of tiredness!" said felix while making tons of hands gestures.
"how sad." i said.

"funny thing actually," said agustín "soon after we left his room with our legs trembling he got into a fight with alma." the man looked over at felix "remember that?" he asked.
"oh yeah i remember that!" felix rubbed his chin, his eyes looking at the scenery between his thoughts.

"what happened?" i asked, hugging my knees close to my chest.
"well erm..." agustín rubbed the back of his neck as he tried to remember things correctly "i guess bruno got another vision about the miracle and alma began to scold him after he told her about it." said agustín with a slight frown.

"yeah..." felix sighed "alma got mad and then the house got mad," felix scoffed "and bruno said 'i'm out!'" said felix while making a silly voice to represent bruno "and then alma said 'if you leave you're dead to me.'" he then made a much higher voice to represent alma "and bruno was like 'i wish i was dead!'" felix put his arms out as he continued with the silly voices.

"oh no..." i looked over at felix, the man sighed and corrected his posture.
agustín forced a chuckle "he was a bit... sensitive." he gave me a nervous smile.
"must've been awful." i looked down at the reflection of me that swam along the pond.

the small string of silence fell upon us, i could sense how tense the two were, bruno must've been quite stressed with such vision.
"anyways," agustin cleared his throat as he began to put his shoes back on, felix quickly followed "let's just continue cleaning for now." he said while giving me a small smile.
"sure," felix shrugged and began to walk towards the door, me and agustín followed closely behind.

"who's alma by the way?" i asked while looking over at agustin, he looked down with a frown.
"she was our abuela," he sighed "well not ours, but theirs you know." he said trying to refer to the madrigal family.
"she passed away." said felix while opening the door for us.

"oh." i blinked "im really sorry." i sighed.
"it's fine!" agustín chuckled nervously "we're fine." he said.
"come one let's clean." said felix giving us our brooms back.
"thanks." i replied quietly.
