me and camilo were now laying on the floor, a small house had been made next to us out of poker cards while our drawn sticky notes were on the wall next to his bed.
you could say we got tired of standing around and decided to just lay down for a while, letting silence and the sound of my breathing roam among us.

"so... how's your stay so far?" he asked out of the blue.
"it's been good, without you." i teased, camilo let out a scoff.
"come on don't be mean!" camilo shoved me gently on the arm, i giggled.
"fine, i suppose you got a good laugh out of me." i told him, i could see how taken back camilo was, it seemed like a surprise to hear those words from me.

"well—thanks." he let out a nervous chuckle "yeah, im amazing." he said with his usual dorky tone, i rolled my eyes at him.
"of course." i responded with a cocked brow, camilo stuck out his tongue at him.

"didn't your mom tell you to respect the ladies?" i asked him while poking him on the nose, camilo flushed slightly before shaking his head.
"well you're not a lady now are you?" he teased back, leaning closer to me making me blush again.
"what a dumb observation." i pushed him away as the boy let out a cackle.

"whatever you say mami." he winked, i looked away trying to ignore him.
i looked around and spotted a trap door on the far corner of the room, rather close to the door we came from.
"what's that?" i asked, camilo's eyes quickly widened and he quickly cupped my face to looked at him.

"let's uh—draw more!" he said, quickly standing up to pick up some crayons of several colours.
"um...sure." i gave him a frown.
"great! more crayons." he forced a chuckle.

i looked over at the crayons and began to make a little house with them, camilo noticed it and soon joined in on the house making.
"crayon house," said camilo "or would it be house of crayon?" he asked while holding his chin with his thumb.

"i think it would be crayon house," i responded with a shrug.
"yeah but house of crayon sounds fancier." he chuckled.
"yeah but it's not gramatically correct." i responded back, camilo nodded.
"what if it was the house of crayon?" he suggested with both of his hands pressed against eachother

"what about the house of crayons?" i smirked at him, camilo shook his head.
"now this is why i'm the creative one in our duo, you're just terrible at naming things." he gave me a mischievous grin.
"wow thanks." i rolled my eyes at him.

"lara doesn't suit you either..." camilo hummed into thought, i gave him a weird look.
"then what am i supposed to be called?" i asked him with crossed arms.
"how about...mine?" he winked, i became puzzled and rather confused. camilo startes laughing to hide his embarrassment.

"oh you should see your face!" he continued on with his laughter "oh man im dying!" he said as he gasped for air, slamming himself onto the floor by laughter.
"ok?" i blinked as the boy continued to laugh his heart out, i sighed and shook my head.
"ah dios!" he gasped.

"fine whatever," i stood up and began to walk away from the room, camilo quickly followed closing the door behind us.
"come on lara! it was funny! let's go back" he whined, pulling me by the arm.

"ok fine!" i rolled my eyes playfully, camilo chuckled and opened the door again, this time it wasn't his room but yet the entire town of encanto.
it was deserted and was silent, with just a faint radio playing in the distance.

"what the..." i frowned at the view as camilo walked over to me, with us standing by the entrance of the cave this time.
"pretty cool huh?" he gave me jazz hands before grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the path back town.

we walked around town passing by some of the houses that were nicely decorated with flowers and drawings.
"this feels really weird." i commented.
"well you'll feel like that at first but you'll get used to it." he waved it off.

soon enough we reached the playground of the town that stood next to the small school.
"pretty cool i guess." i chuckled as camilo stood up on one of the swings.
"i know!" he said, slowly swinging back and fourth still on his feet.

"you'll fall you know." i warned him as i sat down on my own swing.
"ah don't worry julieta will take care of it!" he said while swinging even more back and forth, i smiled "whatever you say,"

"look at this!" camilo yelled, quickly shifting into a little boy as he jumped out of the swing, falling back onto hid feet as himself.
"woah!" i clapped at him, camilo bowed dramatically, almost as if he were in a sort of play in a theater.
"thank you! thank you! you're an amazing crowd!" said camilo.
"you're amazing camilo!" i said in a loud whisper, following in his skit.
"oh thank you señora!" he let out a gasp and bowed again, making both of us fall into a fit of laughter.

"oh i love you." i said with a chuckle, the boy froze for a moment.
camilo walked up to me and crouched closer to my face with a blank look, leaning in rather close, making me blush with the amount of proximity.

"aw i didn't know you liked me that much!" he teased in a dark and low voice, i looked away.
"nevermind." i mumbled, camilo poked me on the nose.
"i love you too mami," he winked before getting onto his swing again.
