Siri walks into the Royal Cave. Simba, his lionesses, his daughter and his wife, as well as Rafiki and Makini are all present.
Siri gulps. She's not used to talking in front of a bunch of animals like this. She takes a deep breathe and begins.
"Hello, everyone," Siri says. "I have found out who the arsonist and murderer is."
Everyone leaned forward.
"It is Kion," Siri announces. Everyone gasps.
Simba leaps to his feet. "Siri, I respect you but you cannot make wild and unjustified claims like that, especially not to my son!"
Siri shakes her head sadly. "I'm sorry, Your Majesty, but it's true. I heard from Fuli that she rejected Kion's advances the day before. I learned from other Guard embers that Kion had been more distant and alone than usual. And I learned from some little birdies I have that Kion is working with the Mwongo's vultures to start a fire tonight."
Simba sighs. "Siri, I do not want to believe this, but me and my lionesses will go with you and the Guard tonight to see what Kion is up to."
Siri nods and leaves.
As she leaves, she hears a twig snap behind her. She turns around, and something yellow and red leaps towards her.
Kion, her final thought is as a claw slashes across her throat and all goes black for her.
