Kion looks up. Some rocks were kicked as Vita walked towards him. Her face is, shocking and confusing as it seems to Kion, is not angry and pissed as all hell get out. It's...confused? And...is that worry he sees? No. No way. Nobody likes him like that. Nobody's his friend. He shakes his head to clear these thoughts about something more than an alliance from his head. He can't have anything complicating his plans any more than they already were, although they were already extremely complicated, so he guess it couldn't hurt much. But still, this was for Vita's own good. 

"Hey, Kion," she says softly, slowing down. "Wanna talk about what just happened?" 

"No, go away, Vita," Kion says sulkily. "It's for your own good." 

Vita chuckles. "Kion, I think I'm good here with you." She steps forward. 

"Huh?" Kion looks at her, confused. She steps forward again. 

"Kion," she takes a deep breath. "I know that the entire reason you were kicked out here with us freaks is because you tried to get revenge of the girl who spited you, but I've liked you since the first time I saw you. I mean, I like you as a friend, but I also like like you. Kion, I love you." 

Kion stares at her, jaw agape. "Y-you love me?" He say this incredulously. "I'm a monster, I killed people to get revenge." 

Vita laughs. "Kion, everyone here is out here for something or other. Abandonment, revenge, arson, rape, murder, treason, robbery, the list just keeps going. But we're all just one big family. Crooks, exiles, and outcasts gotta look out for one and other, Kion. And you and I, if you want me that way, can rule everything. First our allies here in the Outlands, and soon the entire Pridelands and maybe even the Backlands, if Queen Dhahabu doesn't get in our way and submits." 

Kion smiles at her, and steps forward. "Vita, I love you. More than I ever loved Fuli, that cheetah bitch. More than I'll ever love anyone." 

The two step together and embrace in a passionate kiss. Kion and Vita both moaned into the other's mouth. Finally, they break apart. And Kion opens his mouth and starts to sing. 

"So," Vita says after their love song was over. "What happened back there to my jackal?" 

"Well," Kion said, sighing slightly and hanging his head in anticipation of what long explanation will come next. "This is going to be taking a long long time."
