A lot has changed since you were all were 8. Now you guys were one big, close friend group, and everyone at school knew it. You guys were that group. Everyone knows who you all are, but nobody comes and tries to be in the group, it was well known that the group was you guys and just you guys, even though none of you have ever said that, anything close to it, and you guys weren't like mean or anything. Kind of like an unspoken rule. Even though you were all extremely close, you and Michael are still very much the best friends in the group. It's always you and him, no matter what.

(Though you all getting closer and being "the friend group" wasn't the only change, Michaels hair grew a bit longer and he was a little more extroverted than before.)

October 29th, 1983

9:45pm

It was the weekend before halloween and you, Michael, Jake, Astra, Raiden and Chris all planned to go to a haunted house.

The haunted house opened at 10pm and you all planned to meet there, but Michael was meeting you at your house because your dad was going to drop you guys off.

*Knock knock knock*

"Daaaaddd that's probably Mikey!!! You ready to go?" You yelled, while going to open the door for him.

"Yup! I'm all set" he said grabbing his keys

You opened the door and there was Michael.

"Ready?" You asked

"Yeah"

Your dad dropped you guys off and you both stood at the entrance looking around for the rest of the group. Michael nudged your arm with his.

"You scared?" He asked, with a playful smirk.

"Nope."

"Hmm... we'll see about that"

"It's not like it's real anyway"

Truth was you were kind of scared. But there was no way you were going to admit that. You haven't been here before and you don't know what to expect, and from the looks of it the inside is pitch black. Also,

"You know this is like the scariest haunted house around right? It's known for that"

"It'll be fine. Like I said, it's not real"

You were more telling yourself that than him.

"Hey!" Astra said, running up to you guys. "The rest of the guys are already on the line, they sent me to come find you two. We shouldn't be waiting long, we're like almost up, come I'll show you where we are."

"Almost up. Great." You thought.

The rest of the guys were on line and Astra was right, they were pretty close to the entrance of the house. You guys went through the line to catch up to them. The boys did their "guys greeting" thing where they say what's up and high five and pull each other into that half hug thing. You and Astra just watched them and laughed.

"Hey! Look who finally showed up" Jake said

You turned to Jake, "We told you to meet here at 10. It's 9:58 Jake. And considering how far up you guys are on the line, you probably got here way earlier"
