"I'll be home soon love, remember your father can't have any of these bottles. So keep them hidden in our room, like a game! Mommy will be right back." The lady kissed her son's head before walking out of the room. Zihao only nodded as he locked the door behind her.
On days she had to run errands, she would leave the alcohol locked away in the bedroom. This was so Oboro wouldn't have a chance to grab any of it. Most cases he'd be asleep in the living and not even notice it's disapperance. Yet today, he decided to wake up.
Loud crashes could be heard from the kitchen as cupboards were threw open. The sound of rummaging grew closer as every room was inspected.
The door knob shook violently as someone tried to open it. An annoyed growl resonated through the door as Oboro grew frustrated. "Zihao, open the door, please. Zihao, open the door."
"But mommy said not to..." The little boy said unsurely from the other side.
"Zihao, can you just listen. Please can you just listen." His voice came out desperate as he jiggled the door knob.
The lack of sound just seemed to anger him more. "Zihao, sure you're scared. But trust me! I'll keep you safe!" He pleaded.
"No...I listen to mommy..."
Oboro kicked the door roughly, causing it to shake. "Zihao! Don't make me come in there! I'm going to count to three!"
Panic began to fill the young boy's body as he ran and hid. Throwing himself onto the floor, he pushed himself under the bed and against the wall. A small layer of smoke coated his body as he grew fearful.
"One!"
"Two!"
"Fuck it!"

Also whenever Zihao gets scared the smoke will cover him, it's like a protection thing. We saw it a little in the quirk accident story. When he got older he gained more control of this :)
