Hound Dog barked happily as Zihao threw a ball across the UA field. After deeming the two third-years uncapable of taking care of a child, the guidance counselor took the boy outside to calm down after the earlier events.
So here they were, playing catch. Like any father and son combo would.
Zihao giggled to himself as he watched the dog-like pro-hero fetch the ball and bring it back. His tiny hands would clap every time Hound Dog managed to catch the ball mid-air. Hearing the small giggles made Hound Dog's tail wag. Pleased with himself for making Zihao happy, he let out a happy howl.

Sero's eyes darted frantically around 3-A's dorms. Mirio said they'd stay here, so where were they? His feet skidded as he sprinted outside to where the others were waiting. "GUYS, ZIHAO ISN'T HERE!" He yelled out while trying not to crash into anyone.
Thus began the hunt.

Zihao yawned softly as he rested against Hound Dog's head. After an hour of playing catch the little boy found himself dozing off. Catching onto the boy's tiredness, the pro-hero carefully placed him on his shoulders. He felt Zihao's grip on his fur loosen as tiny snores left his mouth.
Smiling to himself, Hound Dog began their journey back to the dorms.
"Where. The. Fuck. Is. My. Cousin." Sero spat out as he tightens the tape that was wrapped around the two third-years. A block of ice kept the duo from running, their feet began to freeze as it traveled up their legs.
Shinsou glared at Mirio as he took control of his mind with his quirk. Tamaki did his best to not show he was afraid, but the poor boy could only scream his head off.
How did we get here you may ask? Well let's just say the three first-years had some experience breaking and entering dorms.
"Just answer the question Tamaki, and we'll let you go." Kirishima tried to pursue nicely as he flashed a dangerous smile.
Make that four first-years who are skilled at breaking and entering.
Out of a state of panic, Tamaki's arm turns into a tentacle. Smack, everyone froze as the arm hit Mirio in the face. "Shit. There goes my control."

Hound Dog's ears perk up at the sound of screaming in the distance. Curious, he was about to go search the area. But a little voice saying, "good puppy," in their sleep made him completely forget about the whole thing.

Mirio stood over the first years with his usual smile. "Zihao is with Hound Dog! As I was trying to say before!" His foot dug into Sero's leg. The first years laid on the floor with a big bump on their heads, well except Shinsou who jumped out the window. He truly learned a lot from Zihao, he won't let the others die in vain.
"They're probably on their way back to the dorms now, just go back and wait for them!" Mirio shoved them out of room as he spoke. "Goodbye!" The door slammed behind them, successfully hitting Kirishima in the head. To the first-years it might seem as if the blonde was mad, but in reality, he was scared they'd find out what happened.
"So, we just go back to the dorms?" Kirishima questioned while rubbing the sore spot on his head.
"We should go wherever L/n is."
"The dorms Todoroki, he's in the dorms."
"...oh."

"Thank you for bringing him back Mr. Hound Dog!" Momo said politely as she attempted to remove the boy from his shoulders. She was a little surprised to see him carrying Zihao, but then again he did work there.
"Uh Hound Dog? Can we have Zihao back?"
The pro-hero pouted slightly as he begrudgingly squatted down so they could reach him. The students didn't miss the puppy eyes he was giving as they picked up the sleeping child.
"You can visit him whenever you want, you know? I'm sure Sero wouldn't mind!" Uraraka tried to console the hero as she patted him on the back. As soon as he heard her words, his entire face perked up. Nodding frantically, the dog-like man rushed out the dorms to plan more games for them to play.
"I guess we just wait for Sero and them, Kero?"

Shinsou was the first to enter the dorms. After seeing Zihao sleeping on the couch, he decided to call it a day and head to bed. The other three followed soon after. Let's just say Todoroki called dibs on having a sleepover with Zihao, more like he froze the other two in place as he ran off with the sleeping child.
Thus ending another eventful day, if only they would've kept him away from class 1-B the next day. Maybe things would've been the same.

And idc what anyone says, Hound Dog is the real mvp in this side fic.
Not the longest chapter in the world but it'll do :) the next part will be out in a couple days most likely
