"You cannot be soft on them!" roared Titan, "We should have killed them while we could."

"Alpha, I must admit I agree with Titan," added Singey, "they will come back with more humans."

"We've been over this," growled Toothless, "we must treat humans like our own."

"If that is so," said Scythe, electricity crackling along his spines, "why do we hide in here away from them?"

Toothless knew Hiccup would've wanted to spare the humans, but inside, he agreed with his council. 

"I know you don't want to hurt them because of Hiccup," said his mate, "but you have to see, sparing them could endanger all of us. Its a few humans, who, let's not forget stole our daughter, or the entire dragon population and everyone you love."

"Whatever happens next, we will be alright. I will make sure of it." Toothless assured her, wishing he could believe his words.

"No," she replied, "we will make sure of it."

... 

Meanwhile, far away the glowing green orb began to shine brighter. It began to shake and crack. Something was stirring inside...
