        Serena Cooper had a normal life, or so she thought. She lived with her mother in a small Canadian town and attended a normal, and more importantly quiet high school, called White Chapel high. Her home life was perfectly normal, there was only one rule that she was not allowed to break: don't scream.

        Her best friends, Aaliyah Torres and Wes Holland, were determined to see her break this rule. They thought it was amusing that screaming was the one thing that Serena was not allowed to do.

        One faithful night in the graveyard is when everything changed. It was a stupid plan, whoever was the last to reach the house in the middle had to stay the night. They all thought it was harmless. But that one decision opened the gate to a world that Serena did not understand.

        Erica Jones had one huge secret, she was a vampire, turned during Jesse's attempt to take over the town with his army of vampires. She, along with Sarah Fox, Rory Keaner, Ethan Morgan, and Benny Wier, was basically the so-called experts on all of the supernatural happenings in White Chapel.

        Once she heard that there was a girl who could bring break glass with a simple shriek, Erica thought she could handle it all by herself. But a few mistakes along the way created some tension between her and the girl.

        Serena and Erica were definitely an unexpected pair- but who knows? They say opposites attract
