Ch-2 Trying it

The team was having lunch and as always Rohit and virat were fighting about a small thing and some people such as harry and rahul were adding fuel to the fire. Rahul was encouraging virat and harry was encouraging ro.

"Wasn't harry enough that now rahul has joined too?" Bhuvi complained to mahi bhai who was sitting beside him.
"This is why they became best friends" mahi said as he saw rahul behaving like harry.

"Harry rahul stop encouraging them and cheeku and ro stop fighting." mahi finally ordered them.
Harry and rahul sat on their place disappointed and started eating lunch while ro and vi were still glaring at each other.

"Stop glaring as well and eat your lunch" mahi had to order again. Ro and vi decided it was better to not test mahi bhai's patience and started eating their lunch.
After going to his room, mahi's eyes fell on the Box given by the fan which was kept on the table.
He knew it couldn't be true but decided to check out the watch.
He opened the box to discover very beautiful blue colour watch.

He took it in his hands and started to examine it. The screen in the glass had no numbers and it was just plain black.
He was a little disappointed seeing the screen as the watch was so beautiful that if it would have shown real time he would have loved to wear it.
He decided to put it back in the drawer.
The day passed with mahi enjoying with his younger brothers but for some reason he was getting more and more curious about the watch.
It was the only thing going on in his mind.
At night he even literally had a dream about it, where it had worked and he had reached someplace but before he could realize what it was the alarm had rung.

Mahi got fresh and his eyes again fell on the drawer. Finally irritated by thinking so much about the watch, he took it out and wore it.

And then he hesitated about whether he should try or not.
'Don't be an idiot mahi, time travelling is not real, stop playing games and watching so much movies related to it' one side of his brain said.
'but if it's not real then what's the harm in trying? At least it will help ease out the curiosity' the other part of the brain said.

"This is getting annoying" mahi said to himself "I will just do it."
He took a deep breath and tapped ten times on the watch and said "two years in the future" and waited.
Nothing happened for the first five minutes and he wanted to laugh on himself for hoping that it would work.
But as he was about to remove the watch, blackness suddenly surrounded him and he fell on the bed.
