What happens in the future

Ch-3 Somewhere different

(A/n (important change): in the second chapter it was shown that mahi has travelled one year into the future but I am changing it to two years. Though I will edit it in the second part but if you have read it already and then have directly come here, then just keep that in your mind)

Mahi opened his eyes and found that he was on the bed in the same room.
He got up slowly thinking about what had happened. And he remembered the watch and wanting to try it and all. He looked at the watch in his left hand. It was still black.
'what was I even thinking?"he asked himself as he looked at the side table wanting to get the box. But there was no side table and no box. And also when he looked around he felt that even though it was the same room, the arrangements were different.
(A/n: I know the same room and hotel even after two years is too much of a coincidence but please just bear with me)

He quickly got up and went near the cupboard which was kept differently than he remembered and opened it. He looked at the clothes and they were a little diffrent. Some clothes looked totally different.
He started to think about what was happening. And for a moment he thought that maybe he had really travelled in future but then he realised that it must be a prank by the boys.

Because time travelling can't be real even though it would have been fun but it wa just illogical.
He decided to go and ask the boys why they were doing this.
The people who he was doubting the most were virat, jaddu Harry yuzi and maybe ro who would be reluctant at first but then eventually would join them.

Mahi thought about how he almost believed that the time-travelling might be real before clicking the watch and wondered what the boys might have done to make him loose his consciousness.
He decided that since they must have played a prank only, he would also first find out everything abou hiw they did it and then pretend to be angry for maybe a day and then forgive them.

He went out of the room and to vi's room.
The door was closed to his surprise which vi hardly kept but thinking that maybe he would be with others making further plan he pushed the door open.

He saw virat who was sitting alone and reading something, look up surprised. And as he saw mahi he quickly stood up.
"You here?" Virat asked in a little rude tone. Mahi was shocked hearing his hostile tone but thought he was overthinking.

"What is happening?" Mahi asked him referring to the prank he thought they were playing.
"What what is happening?" Virat asked not understanding why he suddenly has come here and is asking weird questions.

"What prank are you guys playing?" Mahi asked again showing that he knows it's a prank.

"Okay you are confusing me" snapped virat. "First you are coming in my room without even knocking and then asking weird questions."

"Virat enough your prank is going out of hand" mahi said. He had no problem with the prank but the tone virat was using didn't made him feel good at all and that's the reason he now wanted an explanation quickly.

On the other side virat was also getting angry but as he thought about what mahi bhai was saying he thought that it may be harry or jaddu and even yuzi playing a prank on That player and as always mahi bhai must have come to scold them. Because He's all mahi bhai cares about now, right? He doesn't even have time to talk to them.
So virat took a deep breath and asked in a composed voice "just tell me what prank are you talking about?"
Virat was expecting to hear about some new prank Harry jaddu and yuzi had come with to trouble Him, but mahi bhai said something completely unexpected.

"Your prank of sending a girl as a fan and she giving me a watch and telling me that it can take you to future and then like a fool I even tried it and then you all changed a few things in my room and all that, ring a bell?"

Virat stood there dumbfounded staring at mahi. 'Future and magic watch?' he thought.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"I am now stop it"

"Okay I seriously have no idea what you are talking about, really" virat said and thought about the possibility of jaddu yuzi and harry pulling this prank and maybe a few others. But he doubted that since they missed their mahi bhai desperately and they didn't want to hurt him.
The only person they wanted to hurt was Him but mahi bhai would always seem alert and for no reason at all protected him even from harmless pranks.
Vi realised that there is some big big misunderstanding here, they would never pull a prank like this on mahi bhai and if the biggest pranksters of the team wouldn't dare then no one else would.

Just when mahi was about to speak, vi's phone rang. It was one of his friends. Talking with mahi bhai would always trouble vi because he couldn't talk to him properly like before, so he decided to pick up the call.
"I have done nothing and I don't know anything about that prank, it's an inportant call so I will have to pick it" vi said and left from the room quickly.

Mahi stood there frozen. What was happening. It was a prank right? He felt like virat and others were taking it too far with the behaviour and all. Because vi never payed attention to the mobile when mahi was with him and they would always keep their phones on silent when talking with each other. No matter how inportant it was.

Mahi decided to go and find ro or someone else and ask them to just end it because he was hating it now.
