Ch-8 Planning

"So now we have to identify the person who wants to destroy the cricket team" present mahi said and future mahi nodded.
"We have to make a plan" he said.

"We will have to take help of eshank, there isn't any other way."
"I know" future mahi answered and they both started to think about what they can do to find the selector.

"We have to convince his uncle to give us the name" present mahi said.
"We can maybe catch his uncle and the selector live in the call or something." He added.
"What if i reveal that i know about what is happening to eshank's uncle and ask him to be cooperative and help us?"

"This is good, you ask eshank to call him and then tell that you know everything about what is happening and then ask that if he wants nothing to happen to him and wants eshank to not be pushed out of the team, then he has to cooperate. Because anyways once bcci knows that a player was doing something like this, there's a high chance that he will be banned for sometime or not be selected in the team."

"Well okay then i am going to call eshank here."
Future mahi called eshank and asked him to come to his room while present mahi again hid under the bed.

"Have you forgiven me?" Eshank asked as he came.
"It will take time" future mahi said "but if you regret yourself there's one thing you can do."

"Anything just say" eshank replied.
"I am going to be completely honest, i want to catch the selector who wants to see indian team break, so i need you to make a call to your uncle and give it to me because i want to ask your uncle to reveal the name and also make a voice recording of him and the selector talking so that i can present it to bcci as proof."

"He....he won't agree."
"Don't worry i will make him, just call him and tell i want to talk to him."

Eshank nodded and then dialed his uncle's number.
"Hello" eshank said as his uncle picked up the call.
"Hello eshank's how are you and how's the plan going on?"
"Uhh.... everything's good but ma....mahi bhai wants to talk to you?"
"Why did you become so close that now he wants to know eshank's uncle?" He heard his uncle ask and felt he was smiling.
"Uh....you ask him" saying this eshank gave the phone to mahi.
Mahi put his hand over the speaker and said "eshank you should leave for sometime."

Eshank hesitated but then went away closing the door.
Mahi put the phone on speaker and the present mahi also came out.
"Hello" they heard eshank's uncle's voice.
"Hello Mr. Viraj" mahi said as he remembered that eshank had told him his name one time.

"Hello sir it's an honour to talk to you" Viraj said in a sweet voice.
Mahi got a little irritated by him trying to be sweet because he know that he wasn't.

"I am sorry Mr Viraj, but i don't have time for this acting let's directly get back to business."

"What business?" Viraj asked taken aback by mahi's tone.
"I know everything about how someone is giving you money to ask eshank to try to break the bond between the members and i also know the fact that it is some selector who also promised that eshank will always stay in the team."

"Wh....what are you talking about?" Viraj asked in panicked voice.
"Don't try to act innocent Mr Viraj please i know everything and eshank has himself agreed so i have a solution. Give us the name and also call him and trick him into revealing about his plans for the team and also record that and send it to us."

"I am telling you i dont understand what you are talking about." Viraj again repeated.
"Okay then i am telling you that if you don't do as i am saying then i will take Viraj with me to bcci or maybe directly call a conference and ask him to reveal the truth and i am pretty sure that he will."

"Indian senior player is blackmailing me, wow."
"Well you haven't left any option so can't do anything. This sport and this team is one of the most precious things to me and i can't let anyone come and destroy it.
And if you don't agree with me Mr Viraj, you will see my worst side which believe me you don't want to see. I can destroy your career in a second."

Due to the intensity in the voice of mahi, Viraj got scared and thought that it was better if he would do as he was told.
But he got scared about his future so he asked "what about my future?"
"If you agree, i will tell bcci that in the end you teamed up and helped me in catching the selector and i am sure that they will consider it while deciding what they want to do but if you disagree then you can be assured that it will be a big problem for your future."

"And what ab....about eshank?"
"If he keeps performing like he is now, he will remain in the team."
"And if his name comes out?"
"Don't worry about that, i will handle it. Just tell do you agree or not?"
"Is eshank there? I want to talk to him."
"He's not i have sent him in his room. Tell me are you going to help us or not?"

"Ye....yeah" Viraj said.
"Good,first tell the name."
"It's samesh." Viraj answered.
"Tell the truth is there anyone else?"
"Ansh and one of the staff member arnav."
"Okay then i want the recording within one hour, okay?"
"Okay" Viraj replied.
"And don't try to warn them remember that ekansh will stand with us so don't try anything funny." Mahi warned.
"O....okay" Viraj said and cut they cut the call.

"These names were so predictable" he said to present mahi after cutting the call."
"Are they new?" Present mahi asked.
"Yeah, some of the newest that bcci has appointed."
"Well now what do we do?" Present mahi asked.
"Now we wait for his recording. And also it's dinner time, so i will go, return this phone to ekansh and ask him to tell me if the message becomes and bring dinner for us."

Present mahi nodded and future mahi went to return the phone and bring dinner.
