The clouds grew dark and in the distance lightning could be heard. The mortals started to become nervous at the harsh sounds.

"That's not good.." Aether sighed, "We should find some shelter for now." Both Bennet and Barbra agreed on this decision and Xiao just went along with it.

"Why do mortals fear something so common as lightning?" Xiao questioned looking over at the two mortals.

"I know. It's just that Bennet al-" Suddenly there was a flash, lightning had directly struck Bennet.

"S-seriously again.." Bennet said his final words before collapsing on the ground.

"Always gets unlucky..." Aether finished, he sighed before running over to help the unfortunate who was already being aided by Barbra.

Xiao was quite shocked, after all he had only known the boy for a day and he had almost died 8 times.
