This will only make sense if you've done Venti's story quest

The night was now present. The moon- just as pure as ever shined down on Teyvat.
The night was calming, and less chatter occurred at this hour.
The mighty adeptus was done for the day. His body finally felt a sense of relief as he allowed it to rest.
He felt as though he was at war with himself. His eyes felt as heavy, as if weights were trying to drag them shut, and his mind was out in the middle of a stormy sea, unable to settle down.
Xaio!
He unexpectedly heard his name. It was called over and over until he had enough and went to check the disturbance.
To his surprise he found a green bard who was seemingly in a good mood.
"Well, hello!" Venti yelled, disturbing such a peaceful night.
The bard was waving his arms up at Xiao who only peeked his head over the rooftop. "Isn't tonight wonderful?" A great night for some tunes may I add."
Yep. The bard was in a good mood indeed.
To the bard's surprise Xiao only frowned. He clearly wasn't in the mood for such a presence- finding Venti too cheerful.
There was a sudden gust of wind heading upwards.
Xiao now found himself on eye level with the bard, seeing as he just flew up on the roof.
Though Venti looked much more relaxed now, his eyes held a great deal of pain while looking at the raven.
Venti quickly got to work, now holding out a lyre, this one seemed to be more pure than the average.
Anemo partials and seemingly small winds whirled around just in front of the raven.
Their surroundings had now changed, an endless land reaching as far as the eye can see.
The particles made up the form of a male, a tad taller than Xiao.
He stared at it, almost motionless and it then sprouted colour: long blonde braided hair, dark honey eyes and an unusual yet familiar attire.
They smiled. Their face, filled with happiness, while his eyes were dull.
"Xiao."
The voice was gentle as it brushed by Xiao's ears.
"Aether..."
The raven wrapped his arms around the blonde. Gripping on the back of his shirt never wanting to let go.
A tear then spilled out of his watery eyes.
"I've felt so empty without you by my side..." he whispered.
The blonde hesitantly hugged him back, though the grip on him tightened as he felt his warmth.
It was only a few seconds, but the wind howled and pushed Aether away. He became one with the wind.
His surroundings changed again, back on the roof of Wangshu Inn.
"I love you"
He heard a small whisper.
He crouched down as he hugged himself.
"I love you too."
