INSOMANIAC : One who cannot sleep, or one who will keep waking up in the night due to their lack of sanity.

Anastasia Blair, the one who was born for the mere purpose of serving as a weapon. The one made by nature to maintain it's balance. The one made to destroy all abominations. A werewolf - witch hybrid, the purest creation of nature.

 She stopped aging at the age of 18 due to the spell cast on her by the witch elders. The ancestral spirits kept guiding her in her mind through whispers and drove her to kill vampires. At the age of 18, Anastasia was forced by the witches to go to England, only to kill the most powerful vampires in history, the Originals. She comes across a banished young girl named Katerina Petrova and decided to help her after feeling sympathy towards the girl. 

Anastasia failed to even harm the Originals, mainly due to two reasons. One, her attraction for a certain Original. She didn't know if her feelings were real or it was the spirits urging her to get close to him to harm him. Secondly, she had to wait until she had stolen the moonstone and had to channel it's powers on a full moon to kill an Original. But, none of that happened as she left before she could do so.  After she found out what they wanted with Katerina, she helped her run from them and stuck by her side for centuries, until they ended up in Mystic Falls.

 Every single day, Anastasia vigorously fought the urge to kill Katerina as the voices in her head would torture her. They lived with the then human Salvatore brothers. That was until Anastasia was killed by Katherine with her blood in her system. Never had she felt such pain in her life. The betrayal from the woman she considered her sister was the worst pain she ever felt. From then, she never let any person close to her. The feeling of betrayal was foreign to her, but it was extremely painful. She never wanted to feel that ever again.

She became the deadliest abomination of all, a tribrid. As punishment, the witch spirits tormented her every day with flashes, whispers and screams of every single life she had taken for about two centuries. Every night used to be excruciating pain as she was overwhelmed with guilt. The spirits would remind her of the monster she was. She could see flashes of them falling onto their knees, begging to let them go or would plead for a merciful death.

 Damon Salvatore, her best friend and an ally, asks for her help to deal with 'Original' problems. As she comes back to Mystic Falls, she would have to come face to face with people from her past. What she does not expect, is to fall addictively in love with her past lover, with the very abomination she was destined to kill, the Original Hybrid.
