"I'm going to the skatepark!" You yell putting on your shoes.

"Okay" your uncle said "just be back by sundown, your race is tomorrow night" joe said. You nod before walking out the door.

At the skatepark

You were walking into the indoor skatepark,only to see miya chinen getting interviews " I still have a lot to learn,"he said with a little smile

You didn't hear anything he said. Walking towards the ramps.

"H-hey, you mind i-if I t-try" you ask the boy on the ramp."Sure go ahead" he said

"Thanks" you say before climbing up the ramp. Reaching the top of the ramp you take a deep breath you drop in. Putting a hand the nose of your board you spin while in midair.

"Woah, that was cool" the boy said ç the names to toru ryuguji" toru said hold his hand out for you to shaking "y/n nanjo" you say shaking his hand.

You guys were having a good conversation until some man yelled" okay, clear out". A few of the others started to complain. You roll your eyes and walk off the platform.

You watch as miya do some tricks you could do with eas. You look over to see toru and another boy kicking their skateboards at miya. Miya notices and quickly jumps onto one of the boards "damn" you mumble.

"Wow, that was cool" one of the reporters said "those jealous turds" the coach said.

"Damnit" toru said walking up to get his skate board only to be stopped by miya stomping on his board.

"This is why you'll never get any better" miya said. Toru looked at him angry. "Your all a bunch of cowards" miya says walking off.

"He's rude" you sat putting a hand on torus shoulder. "Hey, it's okay your not a coward" you say with a smile.

"Thanks" he's says with a smile. " Anyways I gotta go, see ya around". You say before taking out a marker from your back pack and writing your number on torus wrist before running off.

Time skip

You were walking into S with your uncle. That nervous feeling was bubbling in your stomach by the second. As you were silently panicking, joe put a hand on your shoulder " Hey its okay, your gonna do great" he tried to reassure you. You nod " thanks".

You were standing at the starting line next to langa, who didn't have his board. " he forgot it at home " some one said "maybe his dog ate it" a woman said"langa, were the hell is your board?" You ask " rekis still making it" he said then miya spoke up "if I wasn't so disgusted I'd laugh. Are you trying to mock me?" He asked "my boards still being made I didn't forget." Langa said. Just then reki came running langas board in hand.

"Sorry I'm late" he panted pushing the skateboard into langas hands.

"Now you skates to your hearts content" reki smiled, miya scoffed " like the power of friendship is gonna help you two win." Miya said turning his head " it could" you mumble " so about our bet, if I win then you get to be my lap dog" miya said pointing his finger at reki.

"Pfft" you attempt to hold in a laugh "iv always wanted a puppy" miya said. Langa agreed causing reki to jump on him" I'll tell you why not, you think you should ask me first before your human pet trafficking rage." Reki yell shaking langa back in forth making you laugh harder.

"Isn't that integring, hey You wanna bet on which one of em will win" joe asked
"Theres not much to bet on here we don't need to watch this race to know who will succeed" Cherry said "miya and y/n, so we agree then?" Joe asked "reluctantly so" Cherry said "how boring " causing their fan girls to scream.

'Theres something about that board, iv never seen one quite like it before' Cherry thought watching as langa put his foot on the board.

A blue haired man was walking through the indoor skatepark

" 2 repairs one 8 years ago then 6 years later. But the building still needs some more work" the man guiding the group said

"Yes I'm seeing quite a bit if damage, it'll need a remodel during next session" the blue haired man said. A light caught his eye causing him to turn his head and look down. " I think there doing an interview with chinen down there." The man said

"Ah, yes he's been rather sloppy lately" the blue haired man said " it seems like he actually found someone to challenge him" he said. "And who is the girl down there by the ramp?"He asked looking down at you

"Oh, I think that's y/n nanjo, a track and cross country runner. Shes won a few medals in the past. I hear some people say she's autistic or something like that. "The man said
