You were waiting on top on the mountain looking out for reki and langa. With the way you were fidgeting both joe and cherry knew you were scared.

You felt a hand on your shoulder. You look up to see Cherry looking down at you. "Don't worry, everything's gonna end up fine" he reassured. You nod.

It's been a few more minutes

"Were are you reki" you mumble. Looking up from your phone you notice a tuff of bright red hair in the crowd.

"Rekis here!" You exclaim " come on" you hop on your board and start skating down the hill along with your uncle and cherry. "Wait, wait. Hold up" Someone yelled "I'm dead  " yelled another "Cherry here" "woah! So are joe and his abs" yelled someone "this is the best night ever!"

"Look! Little tiny is here too!" A woman yelled "she so cute!" Another girl squealed.

You got down from your board and rushed over to reki and langa "y-your a-a-actually doing t-this?" You ask "Yup" he said with a shaky smile.

With cherry and joe

"Hello again Adam" cherry greeted looking dead at adam. "We thought you'd like a 2 for 1 race tonight" joe smoke. The crowd started cheering and yelling making you put the headphones on that cherry gave you a while before.

Flash back

"Y/n." You turn around hearing the call of your name "mhm" you hum "here" kaoru handed you a pair of f/c head phones "since your so sensitive to noise, I got you these" he said with a smile "awe, thank you uncle kaoru" you say hugging him. He patted head "your welcome y/n"

"Woah! Who do you thinks gonna win?" Asked someone in the crowed "would you like to know what we'll be betting on?" Cherry asked "Well that's a silly question" adam turned his head to cherry. Cherry didn't looked to please by Adam's response "awe you wanna skate against me and the little red rocket?" Adsm asked "don't you dare!" Reki shouted "reki." You whispered. "This race is between you and me alone. Quit tryin' to run" adam pointed his board to rekis face.

"You said run? To me?" Adam asked "we have a bet I hope you haven't forgotten that" reki stated "of corse not, looking forward to my prizes" adam pointed his board at you and langa and smirked "i get to skate with you too" he said.

You felt a shiver run down your spine seeing Adam's gaze lingering on you. You ran behind you uncle to avoid his scary gaze. Finally it was time for rekis race to begin.

The sound of the alarm went off. Reki took off on his board while adam.... he stayed were he was.

Adam took a cigarette from a case. Lit it, then started smoking it "he's doing it to mock him." Miya mumbled "that's the thing about tobacco. It despises humidity, so I always try to be generous and carry it in an air tight case. If you expect great tasten you have to put in the proper effort. Joe knows what I'm talking about doncha'" adam asked your uncle.

"Sure, presentation is key when planning a dish and when planing the courses " your uncle replied "and so does little y/n. You know what I'm talking about" adam turned his head to you. You stayed behind joe to hide from his stare. " cross country and track requires a lot of planning and hard work" adam puffed out more smoke.
