"REKI!" You scream as you began to sprint down the track "y/n,dont!" You uncle yelled buy you didn't hear him as you run faster and faster down the track.
Running down the track you see rekis body come into your view "Reki!" You pant as you get closer to his body that was still laying on the ground.
"Can you hear us?" Langa frantically asked as he crouched down to rekis body.
"I'm sorry, I didn't win" reki said with a pained smile on his face "that doesn't matter right now!" You choke back a sob seeing your friend in this state.
"Oh my, the main courses have arrived" adam skated up to the 3 of you "hello little langa, and hello my little y/n. We meet again. What a sweet reward" adam smiled creepily at you and langa. "I'm overjoyed" adam cooed.
Langa put a hand on your shoulder "y/n, you should go back" he told you "no way! I can't leave reki!" You protest "I'll get him to a hospital, I'll let you know if he's okay" langa said looking you in the eyes. After a while you finally complied "Please. Make sure he's okay." You say as more tears stream down your face as you make your way back up the track.
Timeskip
"ARE YOU CRAZY!!" Joe yelled at you "DO YOU NOT UNDER STAND WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED!" He yelled again and grabbed your shoulders. At that point you were sobbing "I'm sorry." Was all you could let out while trying to whipe away your tears.
Joe sighed "you almost gave me a heart attack" he spoke "I'm sorry" you sniffle still trying to stop the tears rolling down your cheeks.
But he was right, something could've happened to you " you know better then that y/n" he said "I know " you look down at you feet to avoid his gaze " you worried me." He sighed pulling you into a hug.
"Y/n. Promise me you won't do anything like that again" he sternly says. " I promise" you mumble in his shoulder "that's my girl" he cooed rubbing your back in attempt to stop your hiccuping.
A few minutes went by
"Alright, y/n it's been a long day. Why don't you go get some rest" he says but you didn't answer. "Y/n?" He called again until he noticed you had fallen asleep on his shoulder. "This kid" joe mumbled as he picked you up from the ground and took you to your room.
Laying you on your bed Joe noticed a few red blood spots on lingering on your sheets and pillows. "Picking your lips again huh?" He thought
A/n new fun fact little y/n has a lip picking habit. Just like your lovely author lol
He pulled the covers over your body and closed your door.
"What are we gonna do about your race, y/n"
Time skip
You were zoned out again "what am I gonna do about tomorrow night" you run a hand through your hair and sigh.
All of a sudden you feel a hand jab in your side making you jump "Heya, y/n" it was kami "I thought I'd come see you since your a grade older then me and we can't hand out as much." She smiled
"That's sweet" you give her a smile.
"Come on, let's walk around the school" she said ushering you to the door "okay,okay." You laugh standing from your seat.
Walking through the school garden was more calming then you thought.
"So what got you into cross country?c she asked trying to pick up a conversation " I don't know, just wanted to do it" you shrugged "how long have you done it?" She asked "about 4 years now" you answer.
Her eyes lit up "that's so cool!" She fan girls "I bet your parents are proud" she says. You look down at the ground "yeah, I guess" you mumble. Kami noticed something was wrong and changed the topic "so what you plan on doing when the season ends" she asked "indoor track, what about you?" You look over at her.
"Im doing basket ball" she says "cool" you smile "oh and I ment to ask. What happened to your cheek" she pointed to the scar on your cheek "got burned" you say.
"Ohh" she cooed.
"I'm so glad we don't have to go to practice today" she said putting her arms behind her head "me too" you say
Kami was gonna ask something else but the school be beat her too it. Signaling the students to go back to class
"Well I'll see you on Monday" she waved "peace" you held up two fingers before you parted ways.
Heyoo! I'm sorry this came out late. It's spring break and I just got back from Disney world. I was so much fun. And I hope you all are having fun as well.
