Blue and red flashing simultaneously lights from the two police vehicle in front of their driveway and lighting the house. Natalie climbs out of Harry’s car and immediately runs towards inside house. Her heart is pounding against her chest so hard it can burst out of her body.

“Mommy!” Natalie wraps her arms around her mother after she bolts in. “Where have you been?” her mom asks, worry in her voice as she brushes off hairs from her daughter’s face.

“Sir, I’m sorry this is all my fault. I lost track of time.” Harry said quickly to Mr. Roberts, who has a cigar between his teeth, his nose up in the air as he sternly stares at heavy breathing Harry.

His throat is dry and he’s been sweating since Natalie came up to the stage and whispered the cops looking for her. He instantly grabs Natalie and run in his red Toyota, leaving the club and screaming Mike behind them.

“Are you Mr. Styles?” A big police officer with a huge gut asked, looking down at the nerve – wracking curly haired. Harry nods as his reply.

“May I invite you to the precinct? We’ll just ask a few questions.” He gulped.

“Father, please.” Natalie begs. Tears pooling her eyes as she grips the back of Mr. Roberts red velvet robe. “Please,”

“I will take care of it from here, sir. Thank you for helping us.” Mr. Roberts states, making Natalie sigh in relief and mumble her thanks.  “Have a good night, sir.” Mr. Roberts dismisses.

“Natalie, to my office now.” He said calmly but the anger and menace in his deep voice, he walks away before Harry could say a word to defend his girlfriend.

Harry steps towards Natalie, who is sniffing and tears running down her cheeks, “Baby, I’m so sorry – this is my entire fault. I – I will talk to him, alright? – “ he said, cupping her face and wiping the tears on her cheeks with his palms.

“No,” she breathes. Natalie pulled away and turns her back to him and walks away with her head down.

Harry runs his palms against his face in frustration because this is not what he plans for their last days together. It was supposed to be good and happy before they will part ways but this night together Natalie’s father and cops went out looking for her and it is his eternal responsibility. He fell on his knees while he grips a fistful of his hair and letting out a groan.

“I agreed on your summer love with that guy and all I just want is you being home before ten – “

“His name is Harry and it’s not his – “ Mr. Roberts slams his hand on his wooden table, knocking off his pencil case and making Natalie jump slightly.

“I am not done talking.” He said, his jaw is clench then stood up from his leather chair, “I don’t want someone who doesn’t take my orders responsibly and seriously. I don’t want my daughter to be end up with someone who is irresponsible.”

“Why do you suddenly care?” she utters lightly.

“What?”

Natalie lifts her head up, “Why do you suddenly care? I was seeking for your concern since I was in 8th grade but you just ignore everything I did.” She is screaming her lungs out to her father. Screaming for the years passed without the care of her father, screaming for making her feel worthless and stupid.

“Harry is giving me the attention, care and love I was longing for nine years, father. He makes me happy.”

“He is not for you.”
