Natalie is snoring along with various colors of art papers scattered on the hard floor. Her mouth slightly agape, her hair sprawl over her face, her pink temple-glasses not in proper placing, and her body lying in an awkward figure which her extremities bend in sharp edges like in a difficult position.
"'Cause I am such good roommate and I don't want to see you in that way, I'm going to make you a new time schedule." Jay whispers to herself as she types on her laptop in the bottom bunk sitting in an Indian sit.
There is such a nice silence inside their room and a beautiful daylight outside until a piercing static sound breaks it.
"You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off of you.
You'd be like heaven to touch. I wanna hold you so much.
At long last love has arrived. And I thank God I'm alive.
You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off of you."
An unfamiliar deep voice rings through loud speakers directly facing their building where their room is, Jay steps out of the bed and looks through the window.
A lanky man with long curly locks in a black button up shirt underneath the black coat, in a striped pants, and black ankle boots on his feet; And a wireless microphone in his hand while looking straight to their window.
"Hey, Natalie, wake up."
Jay kneels down next to Natalie's body and lightly patting her cheek. Natalie jumps lightly, blinks a couple of times, sitting up while pulling out a strand of hair in her mouth.
"What is it?" tiredness and sleepiness in her voice.
"I love you, baby. And if it's quite alright." the voice that sounds too familiar to her ears; the voice that Natalie misses which made her eyes widen in surprise. She stands up quickly, looks through the window, and fixes her glasses.
Then there is Harry standing outside the building crowd standing in half-circle while watching behind him. His smile grew wider, his eyes lights up brighter the time when Natalie's face pops on the window.
"Harry,"
Natalie hurriedly runs out of their room, then through the hallways, down to the stairs, then outside. Chilly breeze hits her face instantly, creating goosebumps on her body but it remains unnoticed because being meter away from Harry is what matters.
"Let me love you..."
This day is their day. The world suddenly slows down that the claps of the crowd are suddenly fading. Looking at each other's eyes where they are being lost but where the embrace of home lives; and that makes it alright.
Natalie walks down the steps and on to the rough pathway leading to her man. Harry walks closer next until his pigeon feet made him trip.
Luckily, Natalie is (always) there to catch him.
"Oops, hi."
"Such a clumsy precious baby frog."
To disappear from his little fiasco, he wraps his strong arms around below Natalie's bum then twirls her around.
Happiness in her squeals and joy in his giggles cannot be bought by money or by arrangements. It was pure love and passion.
The clapping become louder and matching it with a few whistles from the crowd who stayed and watched them then Harry smiles bashfully, bows to the audience. Natalie looks down to her fuzzy red socks to hide her cheeks turning into bright red.
