Walls painted in yellow

A reading area on the left corner...

A backyard with a slide, plastic houses and swings.

Natalie was awestruck as she looks around the place. Her eyes are wide with elatedness and it twinkles with admiration.

She is standing on her dream...

and Harry made it come true.

"...And I think this will be ready soon." Mrs. Ellie said softly, looking at the dreamily lady as she trails her fingers against the yellow painted wall.

She turned her head to look at man next to her, "Harry, you are awfully quiet."

Natalie cracks her neck around to look at Harry along with Andrea, jerking her head up away from the Peter Pan story book to Harry.

He glances at Natalie with unreadable expression. "You all should go now. I have many things to do." He said sternly, looking at the distance.

"I would like to help." Natalie responded but answered with a shakes of head of Harry. "You named this place after me and I would like to help you make it ready soon."

Harry brushed past Natalie without any word. Natalie exhales in disbelief.

"What's the matter with you?" she mutters.

"Okay... Mrs. Ellie do you have a hot chocolate at your house? Oh great, can I have some. I'm starvingggg."

Harry ignores Natalie, and let Andrea walked out the house with his lovely neighbor. Picking up the thick plywood leaning against the corner and started hammering in making shelves.

They both ignore each other within the time they are together in a friendly place, Harry continues to do the bookshelves and cupboards at the far left corner while Natalie silently paints the wall by the windows at the opposite side.

But then aggressive screeching of furniture against the floor disturbs the silence as Harry looking around for a missing thing thing he owns.

"Where is tha – "

"Here," Natalie soft voice made him looks up, her Sunkist hair draping down on the sides of her face, her apple green eyes staring down , and waiting for him... "Are you looking this?" she asks, waggling the pencil in front of Harry.

He flicks his eyes from Natalie to the pencil then took it gratefully. "Thanks," he mumbles, turning around, working back at his draft.

"I thought all we had was real," She murmurs as she starts to roll the rollers over the wall again.

Harry stops, his ears perched up waiting for Natalie to continue.

"But what I see now, and what I feel right now is contradicting."

"What do you mean?"

"You, being an ass."

His jaw clench as he pounds the face of the hammer onto nail powerfully. Natalie jumps lightly in response then rolls her eyes.

Noon, the sun is already up in the sky when Natalie finished painting two walls at that time, a light yellow line of paint on her forehead, and dots of yellow scattered on her hands.

Harry is standing on his feet as he admires the four leveled shelf he worked, he brushes a few wood dust upon the surface then pushing it on the left corner.
