Chapter 7

After eating those - how Andrea described - wonderful noodles flavored with sweet & spicy seasoning and told them how extraordinary they are because - what Andrea explained - they can make life longer.

Now, they are watching a movie, no screw that, Andrea is watching a movie...

Harry and Natalie is in their own world, the voices of Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith talking in the movie Karate kid is into their background.

They talked about how Natalie is excited to finish her college and be a pre-school teacher in her own little day care.

Natalie loves kids, however, she doesnt have a baby sister or a brother to take care of, so, she want to spend her life with other children.

He listened. He listened to the sound of her voice that makes his heart flutter and makes his hands clammy. He watched her pink lips that has a tiny freckle on the lower lip moved while she talked about her plans in the future.

Harry wanted to know, how soft they are and/or how  they taste.

Such a hopeless thought.

They talked about Harry's job in Rave as a disc jockey.

Natalie watched him with admiration, his eyes were wide as he shared those funny stories happened in Rave and when he laughed his eyes were shut close that makes wrinkles on the corner.

She learned that he played guitar at the age of 8 and piano when he was 11. He didnt finished high school though.

What a magnificent man, doing what he loves with independence

They went inside, Lady Gaga's song; Just Dance is already blaring inside the club, people here and there, smell of mix liquor and sweat filled the area.

Harry's hand is placed on the small back of Natalie, whom holding the hand of Andrea as they walked towards the bar.

"Harry! Mike is been looking for you. Youre on!" the bald bartender said when they reached the counter. "Okay. Give these two ladies a drinks" he jogged towards the platform.

"Nat, do you want your drink?" Andrea asked behind Natalie, she turned around and faced her friend who holds blue-colored drinks in both hands. "Yes?" more like a question, but took the glass and drank it slowly.

Cold, sweet and stinging bitter taste ran through her throat, "Uck" she muttered with a disgusted face while her bestfriend is laughing at her.

Natalie never drank alcoholic drinks other than red wine and never been to this kind of place, for God's sake

She stayed in her room every friday night while her schoolmates are in frat party doing God knows what because she thinks that is rebellious but look at her now, drinking in the club, a rebel for tonight.

Lights went out and the song of Will.i.am stopped but the crowd cheered including Andrea, chorus of woo's was heard. "What's happening?" Natalie grabbed her friend's arm, "I honestly dont know" she replied then laughed.

"Then why are you-" a sudden loud sound of bass startled her. Lights with different colors started to blink rapidly, like a continuous flashing lights of a cameras that are eye-blinding. But the intoxicated crowd didnt stopped from dancing, jumping and pumping their fists to the air.

Natalie's eyes trailed towards Harry. Headphones around his neck, his hands were raised over head, palms opened, his eyes were closed, a big smile on his face.

And the big screen behind him is casting a soft glow, lighting his face a little.

He was like a puppeteer, manipulating these humans like a puppet to dance with his music and he will absorb their pulsing energy so he can be more powerful.

Magical.

Beat changed to fast rhythm that it touches Natalie's nerves under her skin, she is stomping her foot, her unoccupied hand slapping her thigh and moving her head up and down to the beat. The magic of Master already controlling her.

"Come on Natalie! We dont want to miss the good times!" Andrea gushed, tugging Natalie with her. Her drink fell and the liquid bursted on the floor and spit some to people's expensive shoes but they didnt seem to mind.

Strong smell of cologne, alcohol and sweat surrounds them but Andrea said, "Dont miss the good times."

First taste of freedom
