Sidney's back!
We're meeting up at the coffeeshop in an hour
Are you coming?
I'll be there.
She had expected this at some point, Sidney had been set to return for the weekend, Randy had said so. She, however, did not expect this so soon. The week had zipped by extremely fast even with the murders and everything in between, i.e. Her relationship with Billy. She did not like to admit it but she was not ready to see Sidney again. Her phone in her hand was now forgotten, she glanced up at the ceiling as soon as the water came on. Billy was up there, taking a shower. She thought about Sidney's reaction to all of this, would she want him back? The thought irritated her; Sidney had been gone for so long that it shouldn't even matter anymore. Billy was now with her, he'd always wanted her, he craved her incessantly. Sidney had no power over him whatsoever, but still, the idea of seeing Sidney again did not sit right with her. It wasn't that she didn't like Sidney, the two of them got along just fine, they weren't the bestest of friends but they were friends as long as they roamed within the same group. Sidney had left so fast after graduation; Randy was incredibly upset because he had lost his chance with her. However, the others did not care very much, Sidney was not a vital member of the group, she was very much replaceable, her absence was not noticed, it was actually very much welcome.
She pinched the bridge of her nose, she turned on the tv just to add some background noise as she waited for Billy to finish his shower. She placed a hand behind her neck and rubbed it, she was a bit anxious, something that she did not like to admit very much. Maybe she did not want to see Sidney again. Why did I agree to this? She thought. She didn't want to let Tatum down, Tatum adored Sidney. Therefore, she mustered up a bit of enthusiasm whenever Sidney was around. Tatum was a good friend, fun and spunky, a somewhat important member of the gang. She enjoyed her time with Tatum, there was never a dull moment with that girl. Sidney, on the other hand, was a bit of a Debbie Downer, she was incredibly serious all the time. Sidney was not a very fun person to be around.

"Billy!" She yelled. "Are you done?"
"Yeah, I'm just getting dressed". He yelled back from the second floor. "Why?"
"I need to go to the coffeeshop!" She heard his footsteps from upstairs, he was walking towards the staircase. He slowly came down. He had on a white t-shirt, black jeans and a pair of black boots.
"What's going on at the coffeeshop?"
She pinched the bridge of her nose before she spoke. "Sidney's back!" He rolled his eyes. "Surprise!" She said as she made her fingers dance.
"Yay!" He sarcastically made his fingers dance in return.
"I'm not looking forward to it either".
"Then why are you going?"
"Because sometimes we have to do things that we really don't like to do in order to maintain appearances". She raised an eyebrow. "You're coming with me", she added.
"Like hell I am", he defied. "Besides, I've got better things to do with my time".
"Like what?" She questioned as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Not going to the coffeeshop to see little Ms. Sidney". He smirked.
"If I've got to endure this then you've got to endure it with me, with you being my boyfriend and all", she grinned.
"It doesn't work that way".
"To me it does. Now move your butt, we're going to be late".
