Her anger and frustration were escalating, slowly but surely. She had examined the main areas of the first floor, she did not find him, he was nowhere to be found, he had simply vanished into thin air; that was the only explanation that she could reach. After quickly abandoning Sidney by the front door, her eyes landed on the staircase leading to the upstairs floor. It was a known rule that nobody was allowed on the second floor during parties. Stu made it clear, under no circumstance was anybody allowed to walk upstairs and use any of the bedrooms or bathrooms, that was his one and only rule, the rest of the house was free to get trashed. Of course, his one and only rule did not apply to his group of friends, they definitely had a free pass of sorts. She placed her hand on the banister and ascended. She heard a door get slammed, it was rough and loud which was something considering the deafening music coming from the downstairs floor. She turned towards the left hall, headed to Stu's bedroom. Billy and Stu were acting exceptionally suspicious, Billy had disappeared soon after they entered the house and once Stu found out that he was being sought out, he seemingly disappeared as well, they were up to something malicious and she knew it, she just had to find them first and intercept them. She crossed the guest bathroom and heard the sound of running water. It was clear that someone was in there but she didn't stick around to find out who, perhaps it was Tatum, she did mention needing to use the bathroom. She advanced down the hall at a leisurely pace. She now stood on the other side of the dark wooden barrier, it was silent but she did hear the sound of shuffling feet inside, someone was walking around, almost pacing. She twisted the door knob and entered Stu's bedroom.

Billy whirled around and glanced at the person who had interrupted his deep thoughts. His dark eyes seemed hostile but they quickly softened once he saw who it was.

"I was searching for you", she said in a calm voice. "I couldn't find you; you were gone. Where'd you go?" She asked in a somewhat innocent tone as if she were approaching a wild animal.

"Looking for Stu, I already told you that", his tone was clipped. He clearly did not appreciate her presence in Stu's bedroom at the moment.

"Where is he then?" She pressed lightly.

"I'm not sure", he said through gritted teeth. "But you should probably leave now, I came up here to be alone".

"Which one is it then?" She said in a slightly irritated tone. "Were you looking for Stu or did you come up here to be alone and brood?"

"You should go", his tone changed, it became a bit calmer, he was clearly trying a different approach to get her to leave. "There's a party waiting for you downstairs, you shouldn't trouble yourself with Stu and me".

"Don't you fucking dare patronize me!"

"I wasn't", he raised his hands in surrender. "I didn't, okay?"

She pinched the bridge of her nose and exhaled deeply. "Tell me the truth, what the hell is going on?"

He advanced towards her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "There's nothing going on, I swear".

"How stupid do you think I am Billy? I mean really?"

"There's nothing going on", he said through gritted teeth.

"Who the fuck do you think you're lying to?" She challenged.

A figure barged in just as their conversation was about to get more heated. He did not notice her; he was too preoccupied with the red cup in his hands. He took multiple sips and a goofy grin appeared on his face before he lifted his head up and saw her.
