She was definitely not expecting this, when they slipped into the garage, she thought they were in the clear, after all, everyone had gone wild in the main house. They should've been able to slip inside undetected, assess the state of the corpse and dispose of it; Tatum had effectively put a wrench in those plans. Tatum continued to scream and yell and she just wanted to shut her up, she could potentially draw a lot of attention to them and she couldn't have that.
"Tatum, you're overreacting, you don't know what happened here so don't try to jump to any conclusions".
"THERE'S A DEAD FUCKING BODY IN STU'S OWN GARAGE, HOW MUCH MORE OBVIOUS CAN IT BE?" She continued to screech
"Tatum, you need to calm down", her voice was exceptionally calm, the kind of calm that can send shivers down anyone's spine.
"DON'T TELL ME TO FUCKING CALM DOWN!" She advanced towards her. "HOW ARE YOU NOT REACTING TO THIS? THERE'S A FUCKING MUTILATED BODY IN THE FUCKING GARAGE! HOW IS THIS NORMAL TO YOU?"
It was true, she did not care that there was a body, she did not care that it was stashed in the garage and she absolutely did not care that it was mutilated, cut from groin to sternum, hollowed out and disfigured, it did not faze her.
Billy was nearing the end of the line, Tatum's outburst was causing him to become more vexed and annoyed by the second, he wanted to silence her so desperately. Tatum was a loose end now, if she couldn't keep her mouth shut then he'd have to do it for her.
"Tatum", she said calmly. "Tatum, look at me", she urged but the girl continued to stare at the cadaver. "Tatum, look. At. Me". She said sternly, her eyes were the stuff of nightmares, cold, calculating and completely soulless. Tatum's head whipped towards her and she promptly took a step back due to the predatory look in her eyes. "Get your shit together". She said, deadpan. She examined the body with her eyes and turned back to look at her once more. "Stu might've done this but you could've helped him".
"What! No.. That's not true!" She was shocked at the potential accusation.
"Doesn't matter", she shrugged her shoulders. She glanced at Billy in an understanding look and turned back to crack Tatum. "We both know that you were involved with him".
"I...", she tried to intervene.
"Save it", she raised a hand to stop her from continuing. "It's quite obvious".
Tatum sighed deeply and rubbed her arms thoroughly. "Why did you come here?" Tatum asked in a slightly calmer voice.
"You know why", she crouched down to examine the body, she made sure not to touch anything. There was a lot of blood and the guts were spilled out all over the floor. They had their work cut out for them.
"You were going to get rid of it".
"Yes, we were going to get rid of 'it'", she smiled.
"Why did he do this?"
"You cheated on him, broke his heart. He wanted to break yours".
"Are you saying that this is my fault?" Her tone was clipped.
"I'm not saying anything, he overreacted, that's a fact", she stated. "But analyzing what made him do this isn't going to do us any good at the moment".
"Did you know about this?" She was speaking to Billy now.
"What do you think?" His intense eyes unnerved her. His whole body language was unnerving. He stood in the dark corner with his arms folded.
"Of course you knew", she muttered.
"What are you going to do now?" She asked her as she glanced at Billy. Her next words will decide her fate.
